Questions about Inquisitor

Hello everyone. I am a new player here who got Inquisitor 4 times yesterday. Loving both factionless classes and investigative ones, I quickly learned to love Inq. However, a few hypothetical scenarios got me thinking:

  1. What happens if the Sorcerer becomes Neutral King? Does it become impossible for Inquisitors to win, or can they still kill a magic neutral king?
  2. After an Inquisitor kills a Sorcerer, if they become Neutral King, can they still lose?
  3. Does Cult King die if Inq attacks him?

Thanks in advance.

  1. I think you can’t select king but win as long as he gets executed
  2. why would you become a neutral king after winning?
  3. I don’t think in can select king with abilities

You can attack the king in you think he is sorc.

no? I think eh is usnel;ectable

I was actually able to attack Cult King in a game once the Sorc was down. I just chose not to because he was going to be executed the next day and I’d rather get someone else.

The BD are the ones that can attack the king at night. The inquis isn’t BD just like the NK’s and Evils.

  1. Sorcerer isn’t a neutral king - they are an evil king
  2. Not sure
  3. I think yes?

They are in fact evil king.

That’s interesting. So a Sorcerer can instantly learn about the Unseen/Cult members identities by becoming king… And slightly change their win condition.

Thank you all for the replies

No. Evil king doesn’t learn who the unseen are

Huh? I am fairly certain as an Evil King (Alcoholic stepping up) I was able to see the members+conversions of the Unseen. Is the Sorcerer still alone, despite being evil?

Sorcerer is still alone. Kinda like starting evil king.

To my knowledge I don’t think the evil king see’s the conversions that take place after getting promoted to king. I think he just keeps the current unseen/cult that he knew about before stepping up for king. Either way though if he does keep it, it’s a continuation of having been a former member of unseen/cult. Starting evil king does not know unseen/cult beyond what he investigates. Pretty sure sorc becoming evil king is more or less the same

alcoholic becoming king does not lose the ability to see who unseen are, I don’t think sorcerer gains the ability to do so
