Reaper chill change

All souls currently do is save you from death and allow you to bypass death immunity. However, I think chill should not have limited uses but instead cost souls

Late game, when you have 5 souls, you will likely not use all of them. They go to waste. Under this method, souls continue to be valuable, and are fewer.

I kinda of agree with this one and at the same time not . The part i agree with is for late game since then your most likely gonna need all your chills which ya wasted but at the same time chill is a very strong ability.

It will take two nights to gather the souls for it, provided the attacks are successful AND you are not attacked.

But again you normally would need it for the day phase only and some players would also save their chills for more important times i would prefer Gather darkness for a much better almost guaranteed Kill place rather then just chilling and another problem is how would you pull it off as a night or day ability?

Well but you would need to remove one of the day abilities.

Okay now i am starting to agree with this idea.

Yes and no
Yes to the idea of an increased cost.
No to the idea of a cost of 2.
The cost should be 1, because souls are valuable to the Reaper and making it 2 will probably result in the Reaper making very very limited usage of it.
I remember a game where I won as Reaper with a total of 1 kill… Reaper can be stopped by Ice Ward, Stand Guard… and its biggest weakness, Occupation.

I actually like this idea. I like the concept of Reaper being the “currency spending” NK.

This is not a nerf. Reaper could chill more this way

Reaper has currently 2 chills.
If you give chill a cost of 2 how many games will have more than 2 chill attempts?..

That change is not effective.
1 chill costs 1 soul, so this might be common.
2 chills cost 3 souls, and 2 chills are the current threshold.
This means that you need to kill 2 people if you want to go crazy without souls for revival and immunity pierce… for something you got for nothing before.
3 chills cost 6 souls, which means 5 kills, aka day 6 if and only if everything goes through and you do not get attacked and when you use it you are in danger of night death.
Do I really need to say you why this is a big reaper nerf and nothing else?
