it’s a pretty large advantage but not an uncounterable innochild on the killer unless they are clever
People can like bad things. That doesn’t mean that they should be kept.
If society liked murdering 1 million random people a year, that doesn’t make it a good idea.
it’s not an option, trust me. the devs of the game like Fool. the players like Fool, and a few would leave if it left. this isn’t like ISOs. this is basically because killing off Fool for good would tank the playerbase
the solution, of course, is to make the punishment for lynching it less blatantly unfair, and a nice side effect of these nightkill rewards is that it’s much less safe for the wolves to pretend to be Fool once Prince is dead.
It would also mean that fools being better at being synchronized with scum would make lynching almost completely useless, as anyone could just say “they could be fool” and as the skill of fools go up, the more people will fall for it.
My overall winrate is 59% in ToL
In the context of ToL, ehhhhhh
Question:
Is fool a bastard role?
those rules are dumb
limiting linguistics to make a debate “fair” usually means one side is probably right
No. It just enforces you to think first about “what is actually bastard” before you are just using this word.
why do we need to limit linguistics to fit an arbitrary rule set
its a term that helps us define things
We need to understand each other. And fact is that most tol players are playing way too few FM to understand mafia words. I’ve played FM for a year now and I still struggle to understand the true meaning of a lot of these words
Like: what is actually meant with bastard in this situation?
yes but so’s Mastermind
you realize they can ask for people to define them
we aren’t the heartless toxic monsters you portray us to be
this is only correct with one definition of bastard.
With a different definition of bastard, fool is definitely not bastard.
Aka “if you think MM is bastard, then fool is bastard”
“if you think MM is not bastard, then fool is not bastard”
most of you aren’t
unless you, you try to attack me personally since weeks, but kinda fail since I just ignore these attempts
but you are kinda harmless so idc
yes fair if you define ‘bastard’ as ‘things Priestess doesn’t like’ then Mastermind isn’t bastard
Bastard is meant as “the host tries to trick/lie to the players”
Which is not possible in an open setup. That’s why open setups never can be considered as bastard.
mastermind if you go totally dracoian with your definition of bastard is bastard as it appears as a faction its not
