Ritual Mafia - Congregation Wins

But i misunderstood my ritual ability too.I don’t call this as a flip.

You’re tunneling Sarun.

All roles here are technically considered power roles. Thing is, you’re only mechanically confirmed here if you’re an Inquisitor, so yeah.

Not exactly. My mind has been made on Pug, Marg, and Marcus.

You don’t think this would basically win the game for town? They would be forced to use the kill a heretic skill to bypass kill me and then my logs would still have at least the remaining survivors of those 3 town. Change of Faith is a gamechanger, so yes I hated the fact that you’d push occupation on me. If I would ever fake Diviner and suddenly want to sacrifice a scum, I’d be instantly outed as a Heretic, so this play is basically foolproof. It does rely on finding 3 town with it at the start.

Solic what will you do if you got a red check while using it ?

Who were you planning to check and why?

Htm, you and Lightsin. You don’t contribute and I read you as town overall.

I don’t necessarily buy it as I read you as a player far more capable than that, to be honest.

Something was said about targets earlier though. I haven’t taken that into consideration as I just got home however.

Don’t nnounce targets. You’re gonn get killed more than likely

Your list doesn’t make sense for me Solic.I am sorry but you are still getting occ.

If heretics hve sorc, you might as well kiss that ability good night

Honestly. Let me say what this accomplishes.

  1. Change of Faith n1, finding 3 town. We have no way of knowing whether your results are true. We have no reason to believe you. You did not do a good job making yourself read as town. Just claiming you have a CoF check on three town will not be enough.
  2. You dictating sacrifices. You know how easy this would make things for you if you are scum? Pick at least a few scumbuds of yours as “town checks”. Then you can start dictating sacrifices, and if we lynch outside of your checks, that’ll leave scumbuds clear for the third sacrifice, allowing you to get a convert off.

Just calculate it. Assuming you are scum, which you have made yourself seem to be. Three ‘town checks’. Two of which would be genuine town. You dictate the sacrifices.

D1 ends - we likely lynch scum - 14 people left, 3 scum
D2 ends - 11 people left, 3 scum
D3 ends - 8 people left, 3 scum
D4 ends - 5 people left, 3 scum (one gets converted, your ‘third town check’ gets sacrificed). GG

This plan is far too beneficial for you from a scum perspective in order to make me believe it comes from town. I will reiterate. You claim that all this time you wanted to stay alive and not occupied, but in reality, that is exactly the kind of mindset which is not usual for town. You should know this as town, but you went for it anyway. Which disproves this narrative.

What it proves is that you came up with this explanation just now only because it might somehow explain your earlier actions and further your scum agenda. Because this is far from beneficial for town. You are basically discouraging everyone to scumread and instead follow your checks, the credibility of which is very low due to your behavior so far.

That is how I interpret all of this. I genuinely don’t see this sort of plan as something town would do, especially not in Solic’s position. The defensive attitude was way too much, considering the suspicion and pressure on you were way too strong at that point. Now you are trying to explain it with a plan that would win the game for scum if you were scum and it went through, and from a town perspective, would greatly limit town’s options.

So, Solic is still scum to me. His narrative simply is not town in my opinion.

If I got a red check, I would do my best to tunnel less than I did in the previous game, where I kind of started to ignore scumreads on other players. In the scenario that I am in I would out the result as there might be 1, 2 or 3 heretics in the result.

This sacrifice phase ended 15 minutes ago

@psychoneirik p sure it’s time for the sac flip

This was my gameplan at the start fyi and it was the same as last game.

As soon, as I would dictate a sacrifice that would be scum. You would just lynch me, since I am not the one that gets converted out. I presumed, I guess wrongly, that that would be enough to clear me as town and make my checks seem trustworthy. Especially, since it is very likely that I would find one soon enough anyways, since I don’t think I’m such a terrible reader. I would doubt that you would doubt me at that point…

Your scenario relies on the fact that I will find no scum and we keep mislynching too.

And it is the mindset of an unconfirmable town PR. You guys are way exaggerating my apparently ostentatious need for survival. It was more than a regular citizen, but not on the level of scum. I dare you to re-ISO me and come to that conclusion again with quotes and arguments please.

Besides if at any point I would get lynched, my checks would still be shown and be shown as valid, so me dictating town sacrifices keeps them pure and eliminates the chance of conversion.

Ritual phase is over. Im going to check the votes and post flip soon.
