if you want, there are a bunch of articles on MU that are incredibly useful for learning how to play FM. I’d recommend these two if you’re looking to get better at reading people socially/behaviorally:
I am a firm believer that voting with no information is bad, Even if the death can give you information its better not to kill unless its more necessary imo.
We misslynch now, sure we have at most 9 people who voted it but they could all be eager town or lucky mafia, since people will fish in those 9 people. (Or I would) If they flip mafia its those who didnt vote that are fished from.
But we have 9 town more than mafia, so they have no threat in terms of solid voting potential. Till that number is lower or information comes out, I wont vote.
Those who havnt voted, and dont = Mostly Town
Those who voted early = Eager mafia, Kinda Town
Those who vote when a wagons decided = Mostly Mafia
Thats my actual reasoning for how I will first determine people, I havnt gotten down to a current voting thing yet on the chat though so yeah XD

I heavily heavily disagree and I believe that Day 1 eliminations are necessary and always optimal. They set the stage for how the rest of the game will play out, and allow you to look that person’s ISO from a confirmed town or wolf perspective. It helps PRs determine who they need to target, too.
No-eliming on Day 1 leads to a Day 2 with a lack of valuable information and a lack of direction as well
Even though theres a chance the person you elim could be town, killing a villager on Day 1 is infinitely better than killing nobody, imo
Branching off of this, intentionally not voting on Day 1 isn’t contributing to our efforts, and kinda goes against what the game ultimately revolves around; flips. You’re allowed to abstain but it won’t help us or you down the line

lol and Hippoyeetus are prob the only people im more towards mafia. Everyone else who has voted is mostly town imo, those who havnt, town.
