Or BD and all non-NK neutrals besides you lose
I’m not claiming that any of these are good suggestions. It’s just a proof of concept where we can go from there.
A: no this rework is stoopid
B: Sellsword doesn’t need to survive imp, yes it has a high win rate but not higher then bds so it isn’t a problem at all
Again, they don’t have a faction to support themselves. It doesn’t make sense that they don’t have to survive, they have nobody supporting them(At least nobody has to support them, unlike factions).
But that’s too easy. Sellsword had a 52.7% winrate last I checked. That’s too high for a single non-NK neutral.
And there’s nothing wrong with that. Only Fool(And a night fool if it ever gets added) and faction members should be able to win while dead.
I wouldn’t be against trying it out, but that might be too confusing/complex.
The class Imo is more fun if it is meant to run interference and be a diversion for scum.
I think you seem to be missing a mindset we are having about the Sellsword.
Spacificaly: the Sellsword IS a faction member in all but name.
We even have a name for it. Lost Wolf
Traditionally a Lost Wolf is considered to be a Wolf and not 3rd party. Since Sellsword is the equivalent of a lost wolf it stands to reason that he should win with his Allies just like an actual Lost Wolf does.
In mafia the term is instead traitor
Masochist is bad and should feel bad
Also right now every neutral besides NK, Neutral King, Pretender and Alch can win while dead
Alright, but do you agree that it should have a one-time night immunity? It’s common for evils to get unlucky and kill their sellsword early on before they get a chance to do anything useful.
Am I the only one who like the concept of fool/night fool? Fool is a counter for VFC and random accusations. Night fool would help discourage yolo killing.
It punishes scum for doing their job
One time night immunity is only fine on specific kits. If you are going to buff sellsword then you should either justify how he isn’t impactful enough (Which is hard considering that he isn’t guaranteed making his existence swingy if he is too strong) or you can counterbalance it with a nerf.
I think one time immunity is fine. It stops Sellsword rando-dying night one.
It’s not uncommon for evils to be unlucky and kill the sellsword early on, making Sellsword useless.
That’s why I want to change the win con to survive.
I mean to his ability’s
