System proposal:
3 ongoing FM games can go on at once. An FM game with a playerlist of 20 or more counts as 2 FM games for this.
Games in the signup stage do not count towards this total, but can only start when it’s legal to do based on the above rules.
If a FM game with a playerlist of 20 or lower does not fill within a week, it must be canned. However, a larger game does not have such a problem.
If a game is inactive for more than 48 hours with only minimal posting during the day, then it must be canned.
all players who make a poorly balanced mess that just imitates ToL with no unique flair whatseover will be immediately forced to only play in a hellishh purgatoryt where everyone is Firekitten

How about with the following clause:

Bastard and Assassins In The Palace style games do not count as a game towards this total, however if it’s clear there are far too many going on in an attempt to circumvent these rules they will be pushed back to a later date.

Or any game that requires lower participation in general, since bastard games tend to just win themselves in humourous ways a lot of the time, and Assassins IN The Palace is a funny meme because we always quicklynch xD

tbh FoL reskins should go into SFoL. FM should be reserved for games that are different from FoL, otherwise people would use FM to skip SFoL’s long wait lines.

I think we should give this a try with an unofficial FM queue. Of course, it being unofficial means nothing stops others from ignoring it so we would need to trust others to follow it. But it also takes away the pressure of an official list, so if someone doesn’t agree with the system they are not forced to follow it.
