I mean ideally I’m hoping to be able to end the game before 3p LyLo
But either way I think time is more valuable early on, when everyone’s still alive to discuss, then later on – in the Airship game, they vastly frontloaded their time (probably a little too much, to be fair) and it worked out in a town win
particularly since scum is probably going to pick off all the townies that are actually talking
Exist yourself, Im playing smite.
There is no evidence I can defend against (mostly cause I didn’t read :^) )
Last time you were online was 25 billion years ago
There is an event in smite.
I have priorities.
Omfg, I just learnt how to edit edit history.
Mods op, please nerf.
Anyway, hardclaiming Prince, jailing Derps, protectives on me.
Kthxbye.
This was… an odd introduction.
I would at least expect you to comment on the more recent thread history than to just completely ignore the thread.
Can’t comment if you didn’t read.
It’s pretty simple.
So you decide to not read the last ~20 posts and instead just go “Hey guys, Fuck this thread”
I mean, if you arrive, see 1000 posts thread, its normal to just respond to posts you were pinged at and join the discussion, rather then spend next 3 hours trying to catch up.
Yes.
Don’t jail me, it would be a waste
PKR Iso (focusing specifically on posts that either I think are AI, or that were important to my read on him earlier)
This was actually one of the first things that pinged me about PKR, he’s initially fine with Marshal and doesn’t start to threaten him until Marshal suggests he might be scum. I also saw the tone of this (“do you really want to force my hand”) as being designed more-or-less to intimidate him out of the scumread, rather than actually being a reasonable explanation.
This was the next thing that made me scumread him – he first claims self-resolving, then says that actually he can’t self-resolve. This initially read to me as an attempt to get Marshal to back off by claiming to be self-resolving to buy time (sort of like Marshal in basically every wolfgame he’s ever had).
This claim seemed really weird for a human. Like, guilt, regardless of faction, is typically used for killing someone within faction, not someone from the opposite faction, like Knight CS, or old Butler-alt Invoker’s equivalent of the king poisoning ability. Based on other things Ami’s said about balance, I didn’t think he’d put in an ability that would punish correct scumreads.
This post just felt fake to me. Like, I’m so bad at names that it took me almost a semester to learn the name of my math teacher and I’ve never confused Priestess with Possessed, they’re like completely different people and also they have really different PFPs. I’d just finished a game where I did something similar to try to fakeslip as not W/W with a scumbuddy of mine, so this was kind of .
This post basically just felt like a threat designed to scare us out of voting him.
This one too, especially the thing where he was like “town won’t vote me” even though he was acting super sus. Like, that’s like OMGUS but OMGUSing the entire game.
And this vote was basically pure OMGUS.
And this one I saw as basically just hypocrisy. “Marshal is bad because he’s trying to make us scared of executing him” when he was literally doing the exact same thing. Also, I wasn’t a fan of his attempt to confirm himself based on his claim when there’s nothing particularly inherently town about his claim.
And this post was also really bad, basically “I won’t do anything actively helpful because people are daring to have the audacity to scumread me, also the people pushing me are sus.”
And this post’s reasoning was basically “my role is actively bad for humans therefore I’m human” which makes no sense. Also, it’s another attempt to confirm himself solely based on claim.
I ended up reevaluating because I looked over some of his town games, and even though his attempt to confirm himself based on his role when that role actively makes no sense to be a human role is kind of weird, it basically fits with how he’s played other games, like when he was Hunter in LT and tried to confirm himself based on the fact that he could bleed even though that’s also an ability that both normal FoL evil factions and an FoL NK have. Once I re-read, I was able to see some of the things that other people were seeing, and I basically agree that scum!PKR probably doesn’t do something like that (he didn’t do it in Clown Fiesta; he did in MA but he had an ability specifically designed to look townie, which “vig that suicides if it hits scum” clearly isn’t). Also, his town feels more “annoyed” than “scared” about getting pushed, which is slightly town-AI, and he just generally feels less cautious than W!PKR in the games I checked.
Ah fuck locktown
Let’s see just how much Marshal strips from this and uses in their justification.
Arete: ‘I’m not going to use buzzwords this game, because Geyde thinks that it’s making me overreliant on common tells in a way that makes me easy to fool’
Arete, 16 hours into the game: https://forum.imperium42.com/t/sfm-candlelight-16-16-day-1/79742/1136?u=arete
Lmao I thought it was night so I put a night action in
Just a day nap.
