You spectate so you aren’t able to play it.

Not really, since frontdowns don’t have to follow the game, nor do they have to join specchat.
They are just… literally everyone who isn’t interested in the game.

No; we first have frontups, then -if they leave- they are replaced by backups.

If the OG frontup wants to spec; they become middleups or maybe even middledowns.
Otherwise they become frontdowns.
