Actually, no, that’s not why I referenced ToL. I was going to point out that whenever I’m BD, I’m very vocal and tend to single out people to get more information from them one at a time, but as evil I actually lie low earlier on. Not sure if you’ve ever noticed that when you were in games with me.
Also I just got home and the internet is shit so RIP typing on a computer, I’m gonna do this from my phone and just do what I can.
Adding to the ToL comparison - I don’t really hard defend myself when put on stand, either, so RIP. If you want to vote me out today, imo that’s totally fine, because you’re going to at least get information when I flip that should benefit you.
I’m going to reiterate now what I said before about who is or isn’t pushing me here. I do NOT think the first couple of people who scumread me are scum. I am fairly sure Arctic is town who is just very unsure of my gameplay here, but I don’t think Cloned is town because they didn’t really give too much further reasoning on why they think I’m scum. I mean, I get it, it’s looking like a shitty play from me right now because I jumped on Silviu (and I can’t blame him for assuming I’m scum for that, too), but Cloned hasn’t really added anything specific to scumread me. Arctic has been very specific and analytical, so he pretty much has my trust at this point as misreading town.
I’m skeptical of Min’s read on me because it seemed kind of vague. It sounded like “Wind could go either way but probably just scummy sounding town”, which isn’t much of a read given how much I’ve talked, and it could be one of those safety reads where they wouldn’t be wrong either way, but it’s a little scumleaning imo.
YoubutWorse, on the other hand, really hasn’t said much which is leading me to think they might very well be scum who isn’t sure how to not look suspicious. Idk, I need to see more posts from them but they’re looking pretty scummy to me just based on that.
This doesn’t really work so much in defense of myself as it does if you actually do vote me out, but if you lynch me and I flip town, just keep my interpretations in mind and you’ll hopefully understand why I’m playing the way I am. This is my read list as of right now:

So yeah, there we go, I’ve basically written nothing about defending myself and only shifted the blame onto others, but I personally think that’s fine as long as you get some sort of valuable information from lynching me on D1. I don’t really know if that’s how I’m supposed to look at it, but as long as people actually take into account what I’ve written after I flip, I don’t mind.
I don’t really panic when I’m about to be voted out, so this is my usual reaction, and since it’s only D1 it’s not like I can defend based on whether I did anything or not last night or explain why I’m not dead the next day. I find it harder to defend myself when there’s literally no grounds for me to prove I’m town because all I’ve done is speculate (wrongly, according to most of you) and vote quickly.

But I kind of get the feeling you and maybe Appel are the only ones who think I’m town. Appel because she sort of votebaited on Silviu and I obviously hopped on the fake wagon (because I really did think Silviu could be scum based on his messages thus far), and I’m not sure exactly why I give you soft town pings. I mean you said mostly because I also followed Appel, but that still doesn’t explain much about what you think of my reasoning against Silviu. Like, do you know for a fact already that I’m town and you’re using your scum position to pretty much confirm that I am? Or are you also town and reading my posts differently from how Arctic, Cloned and Gorta are?
Well, what I said above… Cloned just sort of echoed what Arctic said about my reasoning on Silviu being wishywashy and not very confident, but didn’t elaborate much more than that except in replying to Arctic that I might actually just be a shitty player lol. That doesn’t really seem like a convincing push on me. It looks more like they’re just following Arctic’s lead because Arctic is most likely town and it would be a safe bet to follow him without looking like scum. Gorta, on the other hand, at least wrote his read on me and gave a pretty good explanation that reads pretty logically to me. I understand he’s been busy but he took the time to share his reads and they seemed pretty thorough to me.
Idk, maybe I need more content from Cloned but they’re currently giving me the most scum vibes of anyone so far, except for YoubutWorse - and that’s literally because You hasn’t posted much or really contributed with reads even when they have posted, so I don’t know if I can judge based on activity level or if that’s unfair.
Btw, I think I’d actually put Gorta above Appelsiini in my read list now that I think about it more, but the rest stays the same.

Oh yeah, I’m still trying to pick up all the terminology so I can explain my thoughts better but my readlist is based on a lot of tonereading. I’m looking at who seems to be writing subjectively versus more objectively. People writing with more emotion and conviction in their posts versus people who seem to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Subjective writers imo tend to be either flustered town or panicky scum, and objective writers are either observant town or scum trying to stay out of hot water. I don’t really know if my interpretations make sense to you guys, but that’s part of what I’m trying to determine here.

Appel: Seems to be doing a good job of leading people and making them more confident to share their reads which is something I would believe that a town member would do. Not a hard read yet but I think they have been acting very town-like
Arctic: I’m less sure on him being town, but the way he super hard pushed on wind seemed really ballsy and not something that a scum would do. I still think its possible that they are scum, but I would need to see more from them in order to change my mind on that.
Alright I see that the first thing I would want to do is my read on Windward so here goes:
This is the most egregious in my opinion; they’re pretty much saying “I’m suspicious on purpose because I think that’s the best way to keep alive.” This tells us that Windward knows that they are suspicious. This, in fact, is the exact same defense Chloe gave D1 in the Fire Emblem game way back when, claiming that they were “being suspicious on purpose” as scum.
Additionally, there are quite a few things off about their readlist:
Giving a townread to their accuser, a common act of appeasement
This is a really wordy way to say “idk,” which i think is pretty common for newbscum to do
This is absurd for two reasons. One, it’s not really clear that kiro is the least suspicious; not many people have expressed this belief at the time of wind saying this, although maybe the underlying tones gave it away. What’s more weird here is that they pretty much say “oh lol you might die N1”, which is something that’s ridiculous to discuss as town.
Lastly, looking at their attack on Silviu:

But their reasonings contain things like this:
This just looks like a collection of quotes, thrown together just to drive a point rather than actually believing in their claims. They even say as much:
Even though the post is their “big argument” for wanting silviu dead, it’s wishy-washy and is full of nothing more than shade.
