I have different quality standards.
You really can’t make a game like this balanced, but you can remove some of the BS to make it overall more enjoyable.

Ok so his setup looks swingy as fuck and there is a lot of unclear aspects to the role list generation.

For example if the kidnapper spawns then can the interrogator spawn in one of the random agent slots?

Same deal for the Criminalist/Detective if the other spawns.

Also there are a lot of class that just seem way better than other classes. For example the Medic, Profiler and Highway man seem to be the best by far out of the non-unique classes while classes like the lookout, alchemist and mystic are nearly useless in comparison.

The hidden deaths seems poorly thought out as you can simply make everyone talk and if less than the expected number of players speak up then you know someone is pretending to be dead and you can try to vote people up at random in order to find them assuming you can’t lynch dead people. And if you CAN lynch dead people then that just brings up further questions

And then there is the confirmability issue with no less than 5 self confirming classes, plus a guaranteed, unique, nonconvertable investigator ONE OF WHICH IS THE PSYCHIC FROM TOS.

The converts are swingy as fuck with some being useless and some giving you bonus Kills

Many of the neutrals are either vague like the hired gun or have standard problems most neuts do such as the jester and survivor (the survivor can’t even vote ffs!) and the Spy is like a witch but with all of the interesting aspects thrown out the window because they immediately know who the double agents are.

The thief may as well just say “survive until N4” since the silent way will almost always succeed.

The Kidnapper replaces the equivalent of the Jailor making the town far weaker if he spawns AND in addition to that he is also the second best NK just through his ability’s with the Mad scientist being the best due to being able to convert (maybe even bypassing conversion immunity? What happens if he targets a non-agent?) and being the only NK who can reliably survive poison. All of the other NK’s suck and lack staying power.
