Shading Arete would not have contributed to a scum agenda because Arete was not and is not getting lynched today. There would be no point throwing shade on Arete in that situation, when everyone else is focused on a different matter.
Derps was keeping an open mind and looking for possibilities.
Cult!Derps:
- If Ozz was BD, Derps would probably be pushing to seal the mislynch instead of trying to associate him.
- If Ozz was Cult, Derps would not associate him either unless he was on the opposing team. And associating with Arete of all people? Why associate Ozz with Arete? Arete would not be a good mislynch target. Nobody was thinking about Arete.
In general I think Derps is just BD.
Actually he totally would if they were scumbuds and Derps thought Ozz was getting lynched. But still. Arete is a very odd choice of target.

Thatās like most easily fakeable part of playing Mafia though, itās easy to give an illusion of doing something while not bringing up anything new and just sheeping. Iāve ISOād him earlier on and he just keep jumping on newly started wagons and his reads do not really seem logic. You also seem to skip a lot of stuff and just focus on finding points that you can town read him on, scum will never not have any townlike posts, and also on Arete, a big part of playing mafia is to not always try and mislynch the most obvious targets and instead try and push for the less obvious targets that can still be mislynched, we shouldnāt be reading him off the fact he decided to push a semi unorthodox target. All I see from Derps is him trying to find a wagon to apply pressure upon to try and make said person panic and get lynched
(those thoughts are just mashed potato tier bc I cba to actually reword the whole thing)
The way Iām going about my lurker/LHF reads is that I start off as null, then macro and micro-read some stuff. So far I think some of Derpās posts have been BD enough for me to not read him as scum.
I might be micro-reading the wrong posts though.
But like, there again, youāre reading someone off what sounds like Gut and, if you were to do ISOs, I would much rather see you make them on active people that arenāt towncore, youāre TRāing him for what seems to me no reason and sure the read existing is useful but itās not helping us progress. What I seem to see from you is that you read people with very little but once again as Iāve seen earlier you donāt seem to manage to make me understand how youāre reading them
