If no one claims to heal him within 1-2 days, isnā€™t he literally suiciding? Unless he thinks that he can win in this timespan which isnā€™t completely unreasonable but still.

I donā€™t agree with 1 because that would be far too coincidental because of the other thing.
Itā€™s most likely 3 or 4, but 4 only in a very specific scenario, which would admittedly line up with what weā€™ve seen in this game so far.
