So basically I ISO’d Arete since they pretty much cleared Anstreim and Gaja and I didn’t like Gaja at all. Most of it is just listing facts, but here’s a summary of what I made of it:

katze ?probably? looks better for her reaction? she didn’t seem to particularly be doing anything to try to change how I was reading her, which is how I would generally expect her to respond to pushes on her as scum (both in a ‘what wolves do’ way and a ‘meta’ way)

Early shade on lots of people (e.g. katze & TBE) and continues to argue against Nap when he says TBE is villagery.

Lists are sorted within tiers. People closer to the top of the post are more town/less scum.

TBE and Intensify actually start being active and forming conclusions, and they have no problem townleaning/clearing them. They seem very confident now, and their reads are very similar to mine except for a few people.

Conclusion: Really meh start, but their reads quickly got better. Slightly townlean-ish, so I guess I’ll trust them with Gaja for now.

I think another thing that points to Arete being town is them softing investigative, then immediately jumping on Alice’s redcheck because their information was conflicting.
Like, I don’t see scum staging that specific situation. It basically puts the two of them in danger should those theatrics go wrong.
