SFoL 64 - Anonymous FoL - Day 6 - The Possessor, Inquisitor, and Fool are victorious!

Feels weird not really having strong reads on people at this point of the game

I need more time to feel the :star2: vibes :star2:

Itā€™s something you should fix. Itā€™s what Iā€™m doing right now ā€“ going through people I donā€™t have a read on just yet.
You should be productive regardless of what the rest of the thread is doing (or not doing).

However I stick by the toneread on Jane that post gave me the heeby jeebies

I did it for Alice and got bored after

From my perspective, Alice isnā€™t exactly a difficult read in this game, though.
How about you go for something at least slightly more challenging? Elaborate upon your read on Jane, maybe. I am not convinced by your oneliner that a single post she wrote is scummy for unexplained reasons.

I generally donā€™t plan to order you around, but Iā€™d like to see how youā€™re going to explain a read youā€™ve already made not too long ago.

Guess Iā€™ll do one of these then

  • Gilbert_Lovell - Had one bad look, not done much else
  • Peter_Carew Peter_Carew
  • Geoffrey_Bailey - Donā€™t remember anything
  • Mary_Savill - Was in the Thomas PoE I made but someone said they had some really good stuff regardless
  • Andy_Bernard - Likely wolf
  • Alan_Atlee :crown: - Possible a wolf? King
  • Sarah_Lacey - Donā€™t remember them
  • Jane_Drayton - Wolfy
  • Emma_Maison - Towny
  • Nicolas_Adams - In the Thomas PoE
  • Isabel_Savage - Seems towny enought
  • Alice_Alard - Towny
  • Ivo_Wake - Town
  • Edmond_Bailey - In the Thomas PoE, highposter I believe I liked his content?
  • Helen_Harte - Donā€™t remember them

Fair enough Iā€™ll do this, probably a good idea to deep dive them

Iā€™m only here for ~10 minutes and I donā€™t have time to quote or make a big post
So I will do that later

General thoughts after quick skim:

Alan is just a wolf. Butler can safely get rid of him. Iā€™m tempted to just vote him today but we need the main pack.

Since Andy was given an out and easy claim and is now not being chopped by Prince, Iā€™m fine with voting him today.

Weird vibes from Peter? They are trying to appeal to me a lot. Which Iā€™m normally very susceptible to, but I already disliked the slot so I actually noticed it this time.

Emma is fantastic. Iā€™d like Emma to live all game please.

Mary exists! Very slightly trending up. I want more from her, and there are some things I will ask her to expand on later

Again: STOP CLAIMING UNNECESSARY MECHANICAL INFORMATION.

Peter I would like you to put old Thomas on Ignore and actually read the thread start to finish, please.

Okay I have maybe 5 minutes if anyone has any super quick questions. Otherwise Iā€™ll just expand on all these thoughts later.

/Vote Andy

I said that there were a few things she posted which I had a positive response to. She hasnā€™t done enough to be in my town circle, but my impressions have been positive enough for me to not consider lynching her today.

Unfortunately, this is rather surface-level in general. Someone needs to say it. I assume that reading you by depth of reads is bound to be a fruitless endeavor, so Iā€™ll try to do this differently.

Jane opens with a lot of observations and a couple of weak reads. The Andy read is reasonably worldbuildy especially at this point of the game. Itā€™s interesting he pulls out Isabelā€™s opener but not the other similar openers that happened about good town play, which could indicate a reluctance to make too many townreads. Though this post can come from either side at this point of the game, even if it feels like Jane felt a need to start the game off strong with his opener.

Summary

This post is pretty bad, simultaneously shading someone and asking an obvious question

Another one of those shady question posts

Such a large percentage of Janeā€™s ISO D1 and D2 is literally just sideline talking, asking bad questions and ā€˜encouragingā€™ others to post instead of doing stuff themselves. Given that low level wolves usually like to try and stay UTR since they donā€™t want to draw attention to themselves/make many reads, I would say this is a pretty good indication that they may be a wolf.

Now lets look at their more contentful posts/reads.

Iā€™m not too sure about shading someone for providing an explanation, but Iā€™d say it is NAI at this point.

Tries to shift discussion away from Thomas which is a good look. Scumread on Gilbert

His readlist is very meh, I donā€™t know why he voted Ivo Day 2 if he was his top townread day 1. Also after just shading gilbert, heā€™s put my slot lower despite my slot not having posted anything? I donā€™t really see too much progression on Isabel or Helen either.

This post just screams a wolf jumping onto a mislynch wagon, especially as Jane apparently top townread Ivo during the previous day and this was his opener day 2. Iā€™m not too sure why the Ivo wagon formed in the first place though so there may be context Iā€™m missing.

He unvotes after the hardclaim, nothing too performative here.

No progression here besides he thought his EoD1 posts were lacklustre.

Gross, donā€™t know why you would open like that if this was the case, this seems like a lie.

I mean heā€™s aware heā€™s sidelining and heā€™s offering a more coherent thought for his Ivo vote, I just donā€™t like ā€˜pressureā€™ votes as an excuse it really seems like a cop out for jumping on a potential mislynch.

Geoffrey and Gilbert as scum, nothing too out of the ordinary

Edmond Town

This post just pinged me so hard, it was like he was asking me to find more people to scumread so that the PoE could be larger. Itā€™s kinda worldbuildy but I would say he had a scumbuddy in that PoE I made if he does flip wolf here. The fact that he said many others really pinged me as well, there are 4 scum alive max, meaning that this PoE (even though I was sure it wasnā€™t perfect) was still of a size comparable to the current number of wolves, yet heā€™s was acting like I had half the number needed and many more people were scumreadable, as if to push me to find more people to put inside the PoE, helping his possible teammate?

Then thereā€™s the ISO, where he calls most of the posts NAI or fluff, likes a couple things and then evaluates Nicholas to a strong townread, which really doesnā€™t make sense to me. It feels like this was extremely performative in order to seem like he was solving.

Overall, I could be a bit conf!biasā€™d has that one post left an awful taste in my mouth, so I would like others to examine my points, but I feel Jane has some very good wolf equity here and is certainly a valid lynch. She sidelines and asks probing questions, and a couple of times the shading probe questions that almost always come from scum, as they really have no purpose coming from town (The omgus one especially). Her reads are lacklustre, lack in number, kinda all over the place and her progression on Ivo really felt faked to me, as if she was just looking for a potential mislynch.

They are also very close to the consensus.

What do you think about Gilbert?

This should help. I temporarily take back what I said just a moment ago about your depth of reads.

Again, I picked your ISO out as the thread substitute, I by no means wish to appeal to you besides the fact that I townread you.

Probably not going to happen but if I find the time, I will

I meant this question as more of a gun-to-head, but I think I missed your brief presence in the thread.

No promises.

I can go super in depth into people it just takes a lot of time that I usually donā€™t have and often itā€™s extremely boring

I live for fast paced threads near EoD because thats where the wolves are found

Bleh, probs not taking this claim at face-value being that itā€™s kind of obvious that I wouldnā€™t be executed today.
