what will this game devolve into

anyways back to reading the thread

first three letters of your name should give you a good guess right about now.

search pepe for this thread only

Hello everyone.

If weā€™re going to win this as town, we construct our PoE and towncore carefully.
Be aware that bussing is a possibility as games such as SFoL 61.5 where Ans bussed CRich and SFoL 63 where Alice bussed Insanity.
We donā€™t want to OMGUS people just for being voted on as that derails the thread and is very anti town.
Thomas Scott being this certain Alice is evil to the point they spam the thread is making me wonder if theyā€™re a villager who has death tunnelled Alice.

i can already tell this thomas guy is a troll and should be force replaced (if he keeps it up)

if u see why they are death tunneled, its litterally out of context omgus, tbh just ignore their slot

Probably, though Iā€™m still struggling to think of a world where wolf!Thomas does this with such certainty in D1.

happy to see a lot of new pfps typing, welcome to the hell that is this thread. if you have caught up iā€™d like to hear some reads, if not then take all the time you need. i also recommend ignoring thomas if you have not already guessed that yourself.

thomas is ignored
ping me if he makes any important posts that arenā€™t trolls

So, Thomas is useless town. Has over half of the posts in the thread.
But since he is useless town, and all he does is spam the thread, I am not reading a single thing he writes going forward.
Since I canā€™t function in a thread with Thomas in it (and I doubt anyone else can), Iā€™ll most likely get to ISOing people. At least the ISOs will be free from Thomasā€™ influence.

Oh, and by the way, Lucy is likely town. Itā€™s not exactly a unique take, but a take nonetheless. I believe their posts have been town-motivated, their ā€œtown captainā€ attitude does not come across as bad-faith powerwolfing, and their treatment of Thomas (a mixture of pity, sympathy, and desire to improve the threadstate) felt genuine.
I also think Alice is likely town, if only because she is trying to post actual analysis in a thread flooded with nonsense. Itā€™s a less strong read, because wolves can post analysis too. But I think her analysis has been quite good, which is why a townread is warranted.
Also, considering the context: the threadstate is an absolute mess. A wolf could get away with not posting anything substantial with trivial ease. Which is why whoever is posting something worth reading is automatically more likely town than not.

This no longer applies after I wrote this post, because now wolves might want to do the same thing just so I will townread them. I will no longer townread people for this.

But Iā€™m comfortable townreading Alice for it, and Lucy too.

Please tell me how to do this, that would be extremely helpful.

Something pings me about Susan but I honestly cannot for the life of me put my finger on it

Itā€™s aā€¦ vibereadā€¦?

step 1. click name
step 2. go to profile
step 3. click on ā€œnormalā€ with a eprson
step 4. click on ignore

i kinda have the same feeling, but tbh it might be just me being annoyed by their high horseness

I quite like Emmaā€™s opening. They get straight to the point and their reasons for their reasons seem town motivated. This slot give me town pings.

The raw indignation in this post does not come across as fake. Obviously, itā€™s not an alignment read or anything of the sort, but I still believe that this is more likely to come from a townie rather than a wolf.

Thomasā€™ behavior is helping the wolves immensely. Like I said, wolves could have just ignored him, or complained about him without really trying to make it sound ā€œpowerful.ā€

But Maryā€™s post right there is spiteful, direct, strong. It is towny. It comes from an indignant villager.

Now, we have 3ps in this setup, but I believe the same principle should apply.

like the lack of having to explain their read, mixed with the you must not have change of thoughts mid post as its sub optimal is just degrading. Its like not everyone is an all star player and no one is gonna fit ur mold exactly, but let people play the game

a lot of openers i see are either memes/NAI (iā€™ll admit i myself am included), but i like when someone actually puts effort into making a strong, villagery entrance to a thread especially when they have to trod through hundreds of pointless spamposts.

Thank you. No town points for that, but at least you saved me a hassle.
