hmm, i was willing to be more lenient on Susan about that, considering in my first few games i did idiotic things and appreciated the correction. however, i appreciate the different viewpoint you two have presented here and i can see how it makes sense.

Ah, the thread is finally at a reasonable size. This is quite liberating.
At least Thomas isn’t a killing class. We would have a big problem on our hands if that were the case. He’s still an annoyance, but at least he can’t gamethrow with his night action.

Anyway.

I think Edmond’s posts have been sufficiently free-flowy and free of formulaic progression. He looks good tonally as well, and he is not afraid to combine shitposting with a few meaningful questions + pieces of analysis.

I don’t think he’s at a high enough level to justify towncoring, but he is elevated above null. The primary issue I have with him is that he spent the first half of his ISO talking to Thomas and about Thomas. Like I said earlier, a wolf could easily do this, knowing they are set up to fail. It would also elevate their postcount.

Surely, there are also villagers who did this, though. You people really should have realized that it was a waste of time as soon as Thomas began to spam pepegas and failed to relent. But I digress.

i realized my mistake as the thread went on and i saw how absolutely anti-town and frankly disgusting his behaviour was from either alignment. he distracted me, and i hate it, but it is what it is now and i can’t uninteract with him however much i’d like to.

The fact my top two townreads seem to be mindmelding in real time is inspiring.

While I am grateful to Helen for showing me how to ignore people, her entire ISO is five Thomas-related posts and nothing else.
However, the first post about Thomas looks rather… creative for a wolf. I am referring to the post with the images. Absolutely not something Helen should be cleared for, but just like with Edmond, it puts Helen slightly above null for me.

The ISO contains no attempts to analyze anyone.
The posts about Thomas, especially the seventh and eighth post, come across as outright lies. They are performative. Geoffrey does not appear to truly care about Thomas’ conduct within the thread. Their comments about the thread being inflated were also throwaway remarks, rather than anything with even a shred of passion.

This opening string of posts hits quite a few notes I would expect from a mafioso attempting to enter this messy thread.

i’m not gilbert, but the only gripe i have with ivo is that i they were asked multiple times for reads when they were still active and ignored that. it’s not a large issue as i suppose they could have missed it, but it’s an issue nonetheless.

I just got here and am reading up on the thread now. I’ll throw you a bone though, I think Thomas is towny based on jokes, which is sad because what he/she is doing is terrible for the threadstate. Andy’s opener was awful, but I think they deserve a chance to try and act towny. I am currently at post 180
