There’s nothing wrong with using WotM to decide rolls, tbh.

As a confession I used to reroll my games if I thought that there was too high of a skill-level disparity between the village and the wolves.

It usually helps prevent games from being too much of a stomp and as long as you don’t make it painfully obvious how you roll then it’s fine.

to that end i repurposed syndicate so that they wouldn’t have bonkers stuff while retaining their unique tools such as reshape reality actions

meanwhile hob would get more useful abilities and 2 incredibly important PRs

I don’t think hosts should re-roll games based on player skill level

it’s super easy to angleshoot and to a certain extent punishes players for being good

Still not as bad as a SFoL Livicus hosted.

The wolfteam was me/Firekitten/Luxy/MathBlade with PKR as an EK and the town was basically full of players who were playing their first game.

i suspect this game will drown in mechanics unfortunately and town will misclear “mech lock clear” wolves

I’m confessing because I can’t host games anymore, so it’s not like it’s going to effect any further games here. Before it was something I used to do but would never hint to others.

Like, that SFOL that I mentioned was an Absolute stomp, to make it worse we had a convert option and we decided to convert Eevee. In short, it was several of the best wolves on the site versus a mixture of low/average villagers and first-timers.

We only lost Math because he got yeeted by the NK.
