I guess that makes sense. Canā€™t see that actually happening given that the scythe is a melee weapon.

I can word it so that itā€™s possible tho.

its like the soul floats out of the body when theyā€™re killed with the scythe, and reaper has to physically collect it.
in fact if anyone was hurt and used an available soul they should be healed
granted reaper has advantage on using soul

That last part is actually already how it would work given the soul jar. The advantage the reaper gets is a trigger to auto use it on death.

Reaper should be able to use a soul to fake revive a player kekekekek

The OP class list is a WIP.

Looks super interesting. Like someone suggested giving some classes a coward trait disallowing them from killing seems like a good idea. Priest is already strong enough before he starts battering people with a cross.

My main problem with that is how it undermines the premise of doing anything that you CAN do. It feels kinda silly if you canā€™t do something simply because I said you donā€™t feel like it in your class card.

Perhaps. My only concern is it may be a very short game as I bet everyone will just try kill someone immediately.

If they do then Unseen will win very quickly. The assassin would beat anyone that attacks him, Mastermind would just tank it and run and the Thief will do both.

And this is where my suggestion of using RNG for strong abilities or passives (sorry, traits) comes in?

There could be items or even permanent abilities that add RNG bonuses or nerfs based on what they are
