[SFoL] SFoL 00: The Alternative Universe - Game Thread - Cult Wins

Oh no.
That dog.
Good point: FLUFF RUNNING AROUND

I thought I was in the paint game

At the start of the next day, everyone say my name if that dosent work post a picture of my pfp (Just in case I die here)
derpā€™s post, for reference

If you canā€™t explain why scum was on jake, you only reason being people randomly pushing jake for no reason other then to pressure someone then what really is your point.

Geyde was probably saying that there was probably a scum in that interaction becauseā€¦ it seemed off? Idk what they were going for.

Did it go out of date?

ā€¦What?

@Geyde what about that interaction made you feel off about it.

I kind of already said why:

There was no buildup (lack of progression = forced)
Thread warped around it (not natural)

Ergo the interaction becoming the thread was forced by scum

It actuallyā€¦ felt pure to me.

derps and jake argue, soul and kai join in, and then me and merc also step in.

the ā€œone commentā€ wasnā€™t just a comment, it was the start of a full-fledged conversation wiith jake and derps

I didnā€™t consider a different angle of this, being that this is FoL and as such has different typical behavior ITT.
Iā€™m still relatively confident that the interaction contains at least one scum

i mean it was a 6-person interaction.

you can say that bout anything

Thatā€™s along my line of thinking about site meta

From there I would narrow it down further by individually reading
It was a broad claim given thread direction

Yes because having no build up towards a push is always 100% bad, you do realise the intention was to pressure jake early, I donā€™t think you understand that pushing someone without buildup isnā€™t always a bad thing, The thread being warped around something creates discussion (LIKE WE ARE DOING NOW) generally is helpful to the town

So ergo the interaction was null

what did you want to happen everyone just memes day 1 and does nothing.

yes

That does not detract from the interaction being forced
Look, I could force a push on someone for pressure as scum
That doesnā€™t make it any more townie

Thatā€™s retroactively justifying what happened
Until my post, there wasnā€™t much discussion of the macro of the interaction

And thatā€™s how we lose the game

Confirmation bias is terrible and all, but starting the game without ears is moronic

Iā€™d actually disagree heavily on Soul being scum
Instead of his scum games, heā€™s attacking logic rather than the players themselves
His points arenā€™t baseless and heā€™s not shading for the point of shading, most of the time.
