Open your eyes if you want to see, Ultimate Royal. Closing them will not help you. Alter Ego was talking about the foolishness you accuse him of, while many know it to be ridiculous.
Go to the library, the reference section and do some readingโฆ That may help you understand Alter Ego. Or just listen to Sayaka, she is an expert.

i dont really see any interactions between them, ofc this could be distancing but my gut its a level 1 scum who would prob subconciously buddy w/ their teammates

the former is determined by abilities, the latter determined by having the wincon of, effectively, live to see all others die
because you can theoretically have a neutral with an infinite killing ability, but with a survivor wincon
