[SFoL] SFoL 51: Hand of Byzantium III - (3/16) - Completed

I was sleeping lol.

hi emperor.

Andrej said hello in FoL 22 so sorta townread

I mean otherwise there is nothing that I can easily read about him

Don’t try reading into stuff like this too much from them at this point.
Read into voting patterns and other stuff that has real content.

I would but they basically do nothing.

That’s what investigatives are for if they end up not producing any content to read them on.

What? Me?
For now, I will say that I am a loyal butler to the King.

Fair enough.

What?

Note that this readlist is based on things that happened before my last post – it looks like since my last post, a couple things have happened, like Andrej showing up, but those weren’t factored in, because otherwise I could end up in an infinite loop where I never get to post my readlist because more people keep commenting.

From towniest BDest HoBest to least towny:

Geyde: Seems to be actually trying to gamesolve, albeit mostly by echoing others’ contributions. I’m inclined to think he’s town based on his general tendancy to stay legitimately on topic, and the fact that per his Iso he seems to be actually solving rather than fakesolving.

Cheeki: Very slight townread, since they’ve actually, you know, tried to give reads on people at all, but their reads are pretty short and not especially well-thought-out. Reading newbies is hard but I’d expect a newbwolf to be more reluctant to contribute.

Wazza: The early comment that he has an interesting role locks him in to a claim of a class he’d find interesting, which he might not want to do as scum. On the other hand, Wazza-in-particular not doing that would be kind of suspicious, and I haven’t seen much attempts at gamesolving. On the other other hand, other people seem to be townreading them, and they probably know better than I do – but this could also just mean that, for instance, Wazza and Cheeki are a scumteam.

Bluestorm: Null read, has only posted two messages. The use of two contentless messages rather than just not posting is mildly concerning, but not enough to shift them out of this category.

Frostwolf: Null read, posted a couple memey posts then left. I’d like to see some content from them when they get back, but I’m reserving judgment until then.

PokemonKidRyan: Has posted more than a couple times, without any visible attempt at gamesolving. On the other hand, it’s not a lot more than a couple, so I’m not going to call this a scumlean just yet. Still, I’d like to see some attempts at gamesolving from them, or at least a few reads.

Possessed: Actually a very slight scumlean, which sort of surprised me since before I Iso’d them I’d thought they were town. The Iso, on the other hand, seems to mostly be relatively-noncontributing points (yes, it’s important to know that Lymphoma and EotW are the same person, but I’d be more interested in getting some reads from them). If they’re actually HoB I expect I’ll be able to figure it out by EoD. The comment about Datbird could be distancing, or it could mean that one is Cultseen and one is evil-siding neutral, or it could just mean that I’m wrong about one of them.

HTM: I maintain that not reading the thread, or claiming not to have read it, is kind of a scummy thing to do, even if HTM also does this kind of every game. I’m going to put this as a slight scumread even if metareads would suggest otherwise. People who’ve played with HTM, do they actually do this every time, or just some of the time?

Datbird: Moderate scumread. Has posted an awful lot, but hasn’t particularly contributed anything to the discussion, nor does he appear to be trying to solve. Overall, his posts seem to be made by someone who wants to look like they’re contributing, but isn’t actually contributing.

In a special category because I’m confused:

Lymphoma: Acting kind of scummy (wanting only to mechanically confirm herself rather than reading the thread or doing reads). The comment about wanting to mechanically confirm herself might suggest that she’s a class innately capable of doing so. Based on the rest of her Iso I’d normally have her as a scumread but given that EotW in FoL 22 was outed scum from D1 the fact that she hasn’t literally outed herself as evil suggests that she might be town. I’m not sure if I should take her comments that she’s changed her meta as indicative that she’s town, since scum could just not point that out, or indicative that she’s scum trying to get towncred.

Anyone who isn’t mentioned here is a null read on the grounds that they haven’t posted anything yet, but the game hasn’t been open long enough for this to be suspicious.

If I see anything that remotely refers to a claim or soft, I’m going to put you through the dirt.

@Geyde do you think it’s Unseen or Cult game?

HoB doesn’t even have a butler, does it? From a quick glance at the OP the closest thing we could have is a Warden, and even that isn’t particularly close.

Druid is pretty similiar iirc

Nothing so far swings me either way.
I might have an answer depending on how the current non-posters play

Soft :eyes:
