The thread is BD-dominated despite 4 BD dying.

A good sign.

Two of the nightkills should have been avoided but whatever, maybe they got strongmanned. I don’t want to call protectives bad since I don’t know what they did or why they did it.

BD suicides on one another

Oh f-

All BD T-posing

T-posing to assert dominance over the Syndicate wouldn’t be a bad idea.

I need to see wolf flip to regain my powers

Okay, it’s time to post my content now.

10 minutes later

Kyo is actually lock scum.
He 100% got into the thunderdome because whoever got lynched would get cleaned anyway. If Marshal was the one lynched he would push the agenda that Marshal must’ve been scum, then he would proceed to try and mislynch me because ‘lol lost wolf,’ trying to ride on the prior towncred he had.

Yeah, it all makes sense to me. Maybe I’m stupidly convincing myself of Kyo being scum, but honestly I think he really is scum and pushing him was the correct decision. There was also that TMI I brought up.

When he self-hammered he 100% knew he was getting cleaned, too. There is no way he was town. I don’t believe it.

At least one scum vote on Kyo unless the scumteam is dumb and either didn’t vote or piled everything on Marshal like lolwolves.

What Arete said in our N2 link:

all BD have a counter that starts at 0, it goes up by 1 if they’re on a Syndicate member at the end of the day and down by 1 if they’re on a BD.
If it goes negative, the following bad things happen:
-Minus 1: The Syndicate finds out their class type group
-Minus 2: Their votes will not count for King
-Minus 3: There will be a secret extra vote on them that doesn’t show (this stacks with another ability)
-Minus 4: They are occupied for the night
-Minus 5: They die

^^ This is important.

…Just realized that the self-vote makes perfect sense here.

Kyo didn’t want people unvoting the Marshal wagon

Keep what Arete said in mind because we really don’t want to be voting town. That’s why we absolutely need discussion in order to have good lynches.

Now that I said it, it’s time to dunk on a scumteam member.

Aims gun at Wazza.

Did I actually catch him there?

Here is when Kyo first starts townreading Wazza, apparently. Pretty sudden, huh?

Wazza starts harddefending Kyo, using the same crutch Kyo has been using. ‘Why would you do that as scum.’ I have debunked it numerous times - scum can and will level. And now that we know one of the scum Omega Actions relies on town voting town, Kyo’s actions begin to make perfect sense.

This is off-topic, but it doesn’t look like distancing to me. Maybe Squid is legitimately town and I should take her out of the PoE, replacing her with Wazza.

…Yeah. I might want to do that.

EW. I hate this post so much. He’s trying so hard to make Kyo look better. He’s not even defending Kyo, just trying to make him look better because he probably knows the lynch will be cleaned.

Maybe I’m getting confbiased here but this post really strikes me as scummy.

This is about Squid. Another EW. I feel like scum writes these posts way more frequently than town does. Why would you hate townreading someone as town? I suppose in some situations it might be annoying, but Wazza… didn’t really have a basis for that feeling. It’s not like he was scumreading Squid very hard before. This feels like he’s annoyed she looks like town now, or he’s trying to townread her so he can convince her not to attack Kyo.

Either way I don’t quite believe there is a town motivation within that post.

He is relying really hard on us not knowing what Arete learned at the end of D2. Given what we learned, this line of reasoning in Wazza’s accusations is scummy as hell. I understand that he might look really scummy because he didn’t know and dug himself into a hole, but there are just… far too many scummy things. All of that added together and I can’t possibly townread Wazza anymore.

The worst part is that there is much, much more.

He is still trying to make Kyo look better and correcting his posts. Why? Why is he ignoring the fact they are scummy if he seems to think they are scummy? Why would he want to stop/correct Kyo if he did not find these posts very scummy? Why is he fixing Kyo’s reputation for him?

I don’t believe this is a town-motivated defense. Town doesn’t know Kyo’s alignment and shouldn’t ignore these signs. In fact, Wazza is obviously not ignoring the signs of Kyo being scummy - he is aware of them and yet he is intentionally ignoring them.

This and:

This and:

His interactions with Kyo feel lukewarm and weak, like he’s not trying to solve his alignment or get any information from him. I recognize these interactions as scummy because that’s exactly the type of interactions I was going for with my scummates in LotR (specifically Arete, funnily enough).

This happened earlier, but in my opinion it only serves to make Shurian look even better.

Ozz noticed that in the meantime. I think that makes him even townier than he was before (from my perspective).

…Was he trying to get you to not investigate the Omega Action that is damning for the scumteam?

Like I’ve said before: Wazza’s outlook on the game is quite narrow. He is trying to sell the narrative that a Marshal lynch gives us more information than a Kyo lynch, which is false. The fact one of the people who looks bad with a Kyo lynch is Wazza himself… that is particularly damning for Wazza. He is clearly pushing the idea of a Marshal lynch being more informative because a Marshal lynch doesn’t spew or suggest Wazza’s alignment. Basically, a Kyo lynch is bad for Wazza and I’m convinced he knew this while writing that post.

Kyo also immediately followed up on the post in Wazza’s stead. Why was he doing that instead of Wazza? …Yeah, that’s not a strong reason to scumread someone, but I don’t like that in hindsight either.

I really didn’t buy that backhanded excuse.

…Is he happy about that? This looks like a scumchat post given what we know about the Syndicate’s Omega Action now.

…Why are they playing like a team in these interactions? They are following up on each other’s messages and trying to discredit me together, because I’m hardpushing Kyo. The fact they are criticizing my PoE might also indicate there are scum members in the PoE (maybe a lot of them, even), although that is less certain. The important fact is that there is teamplay here. This is the second time they support each other without actually interacting with each other.

Still convinced Marshal is scum.

This looks like such an obvious distancing vote. “Yeah I’ve been townreading you but you recently convinced me you’re scum, sorry but you’re getting voted.”

It feels like Wazza is attempting to justify the vote way too hard, as if he is hoping not to demolish his somewhat towny status. Additionally, he did not even interact with Kyo or refer to his posts between his message to me (which I quoted earlier) and his vote on Kyo. It feels like the change of heart happened inside his mind and outside of the thread. While it might be okay normally, the fact he’s not transparent with his thought process and overly careful on the wagons does not make me feel good about his slot.

TL;DR Holy hell this wall is long. I think Wazza is super scum with Kyo. In contrast, Ozz and Shurian look very good. Even Squid looks pretty good - I should replace her with Wazza in the PoE.

This is BS they never said anything like that in thread logs and neither does their classcard

Arete said that to me in link and Marshal can confirm it. They figured it out using their ability that allows them to find out more about a specific Omega Action.
They intentionally didn’t follow Wazza’s suggestion and it ended up being highly important.
Don’t try to discredit me here, blackmailer.
