[SFoL] SFoL 53: Looming Threat - Completed

This better be a game with more than 1 healer

Okay brief Sulit ISO letā€™s go. A lot of his posts actually seem NAI and insignificant so Iā€™m honestly not positive why I initially got good vibes. But I do think this could be how Sulit always is, so meh I guess.

Well, if Solic is town this is good for Sulit, but if Solic is scum this is bad for him. Based on associationā€¦ Solic is probably town, unless heā€™s being bussed.

Yeah actually the associations are not very strong I am misremembering

He is pushing Priestess for explanation, which is good on him

Continues to defend Solic

I like this post, Iā€™ve had similar thoughts as town in LOTRFM and this mindset comes from town

Ugh I feel like Sulit is just being lazy though

Is helping Arete scumread Priestess I guess, which is somewhat helpful

I donā€™t like this mindset that all the reads have already been made and I disagree with the scum reads

Overall I think Sulit is probably lazy town tbh, but he isnā€™t that strong of a town read. More like slight town.

Honestly this game really hinges on whether we get an early scum flip or not so we can understand the mechanics of the unknown faction because I feel like scum abilities in this will be much stronger late game.

Iā€™ll say yeah, itā€™s highly possible.

I donā€™t like how half of this read is based on pre-flip associations with other players.

Pity Iā€™m null, but canā€™t contribute now.

Arenā€™t you always?

iPad dead

Guys, iā€™ve had a revelation.

this post made by arete as scum in LOTRFM

this post made by arete in this game.

Defend yourself arete

Or maybe I am undervalued but also onto something simultaneously

Donā€™t even do that. I would in fact claim that I would be more confident as scum. Scum is more fun to play as and the excitement would make me more confident.

We seem to disagree a lot in this game though. I donā€™t hold the same beliefs about how to play that you do.

It worked for me as Priest :woman_shrugging: if I were to make random scum reads without taking association into account you would criticize me for my reads not making sense. You did ask who would be on your scum team. I am trying to gamesolve

can you dont

just mad that i caught scum smh

Letā€™s face it, both Arete and Marshal are scum and attempting shenanigans with one another

I never knew the rickroll could be so AI

I do not agree with Marshal being scum.

I like Shurian as a player and as person tbh. Hopefully I donā€™t get blindsided

Honestly thought it would be like an identical post between games wanting me to make Arete eat the rope even more but you did this to me.

Squid: still null
Frost: still null
Magnus: scumlean, unlike the other lowposters he has a pretty clear town meta in most town games that heā€™s not following here
Cheeki: still null
Jgoes: Generic scumlean like everyone else has. His reads are all super hedgy:

To paraphrase something Alice said over in the Paint game when she was explaining how to distinguish between town wallposts and scum wallposts, when townies who are unsure of their read on someone else try to interact with them to figure out whatā€™s going on there, and/or try to solve other slots (obviously that doesnā€™t mean they canā€™t nullread someone with three posts or whatever, but Geyde is definitely not in that category). Here Jgoes instead nullreads them and leaves it.

This:

Is basically the only post in his Iso thatā€™s both a read and not hedgy.

Overall Jgoes is a moderate scumlean here.

Also why is it a problem to do reads based on associations? If one person from that group is lynched and they are town then the train of that theory ends. If you are town you shouldnā€™t have a problem with it because itā€™s not even something that could involve setting up future mislynches

Itā€™s not that you canā€™t use associations ever but when youā€™re contorting yourself into a read thatā€™s only justified if you go based on pre-flip associations with like three different people, thatā€™s kind of weird.
