A possible different view that I think might have some merit:

I think postcounts this high are antitown.

Lots of words, but quality of text suffers.

And kilotons of noise.

Because if an ambiguously worded rule was interpreted consistently in the past that points to continuing to interpret it like that not being bastard/etc.

I think in mu champs the only town win had lowest poscount by a big margin, its an anecdote as I didnt follow that game, but at least I rarely see the discussion of how volume affects the game of mafia in general, so I am curious.

its cuz of setup size

Just checked, triple threat 3 had 26 players, lasted I think 5 or 6 days - much more than this game, had 5000 fewer posts. Was town win, but again, its an anecdote.

Its not inevitable to have these post counts.
There ought to be something different underlying in those games, I think.

I mean that large amount of posts in big setup

I hosted FoL 21 (4.2k posts), FoL 23 (2.3k posts) and NFoL 4 (4.3k posts).
All games til D4 or D5.

who won those

I mean you can say wolves here were much better or whatever, I am not trying to prove anything.

FoL 21 and NFoL 4: BD, FoL 23 Unseen.

On this site a general rule of thumb is most people are worse playing as town than scum

cough

Thatā€™s great

I donā€™t think Clown Fiesta was supposed to be competitive at all.
I mean, I didnā€™t even make a readslist or ISO anyone the entire game I think. I was literally openwolfing trying to save Alice.

Hosts handle individual cycles

1/2/3
Then repeat

Readlists are shittiest form of content anyway.

Good only as a summary so you wont forget stuff.

Imo.

Town ended up winning because they didnā€™t flood thread with garbage and because the scum did not attempt to influence thread direction

because scum didnt flood thread with garbage*
