I’m not sure whether or not it’s more optimal to not talk at all on lynchless D1 to prevent PR reads or to scumhunt but not be able to do anything and your V reads will be completely messed up tomorrow thanks to conversion mechanics

I feel like the cons outweight the pros

Why don’t we just completely remove a random king at the start and instead have a D1 lynchless king election?

I think you’re a wolf but the moment I try to methodically resolve you I get bogged down because I don’t have access to tools I normally would- your voting patterns, the sense that anything you’re doing has a purpose.

Hard disagree. We have an extremely poor gamestate right now and if night were to start immediately, most night actions would be used incorrectly.

We do have games which don’t have starting king. We call them Forum Mafia games.

D1 lynchless king election removes the con of not being able to do anything D1 but also removes the cons of nightstart because you can discuss

also the first few Ritual Mafia games had D1 Rituals, and we agreed that it was actually quite a villagesided mechanic because it forces wolves to post villagereads on your partners immediately

If we had no D1 start, then Prince for example won’t be able to jail anyone N1. That hurts BD as Prince can investigate by jailing people to see if there are less KPN than normal or not.

It isn’t overpowered but it’s certainly powerful enough to warrant not being able to do anything for one night

of course the real solution is to add a D1 lynch
but we can’t do that because of the existence of NK
hence why we should remove NK

Also the fact we’ve all devolved to mechanical talk about how D1 is useless makes it an obvious problem

Not to mention we have 2 players who haven’t made a single post so far with a little over 6 hours remaining as well.
