In the beginning of the quaranteen, you had lots of people playing
The mental sanity in quaranteen is often not that good tho, and FM doesn’t do anything good to your sanity ^^
lots of ppl don’t want to play games (or too many at once) but still want to be able to periodically check in on it
I think it isn’t that less people are signing up and speccing instead, it’s that more people who were not going to participate in the game decided to spectate

Also even while I don’t want to play, I’m very much interested in discussing the game with other people instead of just sitting around and mulling over my thoughts alone.
Hence why spectating with people, especially those who I think it would be fun to do with, is my thing.

If it’s a problem outwith our control the solution is to find more people
If it’s a problem with the setup we need to start doing something and as a setup creator I’d like to do that
I think this solution is always going to be optimal. There are less than 50 active regular players on these forums.
