[SFoL] SFoL 63 - Triple Threat: Virtuous - Game Over (4/26) - Blue Dragon (evils) win!

frost’s method of defending theirself and then thinking i’ve completely lost it once i’m absolutely convinced they’re scum for it is :upside_down_face:

Some people have very obvious towntells / meta on this forum

Getting SDA/Italy’s alignment isn’t that hard

But you aren’t an obvious town just from meta so you need to put some effort into your play

In fact, I caught PK precisely because his reads made no sense. They had no progression. Moreover, I baited him into opportunistically voting me, because I voted someone he TMI’d as “not his partner.” That showed me the way.

This type of thing can unironically be good sometimes. Depends on how you do this.

Yeah, this is a major issue why a lot of people like Gorta or Cheese get perma-stuck in the PoE.

People can get a very good read on you based on your interactions.

both of these appear to be big problems for quite a few people

I really agree, like sure it shows ur reading but if these arent like hard hitters and probing the people they arent needed

If Italy gets into any mech bs that makes him look townier he’s like so obvious as town and gets some random motivation boost like wtf o_o

No not really

this is the mindset that won mafia the game in ToLFM

to be fair i think a lot of this was language barrier

quite a bit of it was language barrier it felt like his posts were run through google translate

Also participating in active thread goes a lot farther than past thread unless its extremely JUICY

I think it should be a common thing going forward

Maybe so, but from my point of view it feels like my execution was wolves taking advantage of someone screwing up and pushing one of the last threats to them in terms of town KP

I don’t know what I would have claimed and 9 times out of 10 that would have made me look even more suspicious

It does help though, as sometimes people do pay attention to the game, but get forgetful when a real life thing comes up

The reason I said that was several people said I was likely town, but was flipping me regardless

I did make reads and I quoted/linked them for whoever asked about them and I was trying to solve on that last day, but I guess it was in vain

The reason for that is I make catch up posts because usually when I get on others are rarely on. I think I was on at the SoD for d1, but yeah I was busy catching up (I mean 2k posts on d1?) and when I did catch up people weren’t on to talk with me

too neon
my eyes

It entirely up to host discretion. I do it in some of my games. Sometimes to you. And sometimes I dont get a submission still. It’s not the hosts job to ping u to press button. They already did when they said night begins submit ur action

Look at JOAT^2 for an example of this where I completely fakeclaimed JOAT (as a JOAT, might I add) who had mechanical info that PK was scum. He was getting lynched anyway, but this helped put the nail in the coffin and my quick subtraction literally prevented me from being the death that night.

gorta

I believe the term is “NPC energy.”
Not talking to people unless they talk to you first.
