I was going to start theorizing on why I could be visited again – though that was somewhat of a quick rescind.

We don’t know if he didn’t use that ability as a whole or if he didn’t use it specifically on me though.
Also if I was a Mage myself I probably wouldn’t barrier a bleeding person either, since I am still in the Executioner pool (and might or might not be it) for scum – so it’s not likely at all that they would try to convert me again? We discussed this in Allies as well and came to basically the same conclusion.

As I was always going to heal Magnus or Ans and Magnus already claimed so jic we had the dark stalker thingy I didn’t want to risk trying to heal and failing so I went for the safer option.

enough to warrant a heal, and thats enough to warrant conversion immunity

(and thinking they could be converted isnt crazy when its already been attempted this game)

I didnt need anybody claiming to make you convert immune; besides those who have already claimed

p much everybody is in the pool; I dont see how this point stands. You being conversion immune does not make you more or less likely.

Its not lock-scum that he didnt use his thing, but on an outted convert night when you dont know if its a cult or unseen game it is definitely useful to do so.

In case this is a Darkstalker game and Magnus is cursed, the Darkstalker still has to attack them to kill them at night.
Only cursing a player only prevents them from being healed:

I wouldn’t consider Magnus a priority to attack to begin with, especially since Darkstalker also has a normal kill that doesn’t require it to target Cursed players:

So in a scenario where Darkstalker cursed Magnus, then immediately decided to attack Magnus who was generally nullread/in PoE for some, the worst that happens is you heal him and he dies and you get information that he was strongmanned/cursed.

Now, if this is a Frostweaver game there’s a fair chance that Frostweaver uses Absolute Zero on me and you die.
How was healing me over Magnus safer?

What I don’t entirely get is why you’re more comfortable risking your life than you are risking a failed heal (which gives you information that the NK is most likely the anti-claim one), were you just that desperate to take yourself out of the PoE?

Magnus had already claimed so if there was a dark thingy then Magnus would likely have been cursed and thus unhealable.

the thing I don’t get is why Ans was townie enough for you to save his life but not townie enough to protect from conversion

particularly when the fact that there was a conversion attempt on him N1 was outed info

but I’m just a neut, what do I know

Unless you are taking the niche, unbased “this is specifically Darkstalker game and Magnus is 100% cursed” scenario but like I said even in that case – you get information on him? Since I wasn’t among your top TR’s?

I am going to say this.
I discussed yesterday that we need to keep in mind NK possibilities.

I considered the following:
If there is a Frostweaver then I still have to try and go for heals on someone or else I potentially allow 2 people to die to bleed and more to attacks.
I could die doing this, but, it would give info and at least I would give my life in an attempt to help as if I did nothing then it is worse and everyone would outright lynch me.

If there is a Darkstalker then Magnus was likely cursed already. Healing him would fail if this is the NK and if this is the NK then Ans cannot be absolute zero’d. Therefore it was a safer target as a whole.

taken the safe route of healing Magnus, find if its a FW game, then work from there

I do see that Magnus mightve been considered less towny though, thats not the point he’s using
