she hasn’t even made a single joke
but i’ll pretend im giving them time
It’ll be very obvious if she doesn’t die tonight anyway, that’s what I figure
Cause if the thieves don’t target an outed protective its usually a dead giveaway
And if she decides to step for Chief to be “less useless” that’s when we yeet her
i respect this plan
big brain
I’m pretty sure Pug will try to step if she’s not a guard, since a guard basically never needs to step as an actual protective
obviously the guard shouldn’t out, either, but there is a small chance she’s actually just a guard
I’m trying to figure out a use for this:
If I use it in a smart way, I can fuck up the Thieves Guild, but if if I mess up then I handicap the village instead lol.
It won’t have any effect on the BC and it won’t have any effect on occ immune classes either.
The other dumb thing is that the only person I can currently use this on is you. Which I considered, since it might clear the way for me to heal you the following night, but it’s also risky since I’d handicap any healers who targeted you unless the BC was already blocking them or something. Plus then the BC can just make my next action fail if they figure out I targeted you, in which case you don’t get healed and you die.
I can, however, try to bait the thieves so that I absorb a hit tonight and nobody dies. It’s probably optimal if I obvtown myself to do that, since if they kill anyone else other than a neut, we’re at a huge disadvantage.
I know there are ways we can still win in this setup, and I’ve won in extremely scumsided setups before (on ToL, not in FM… yet), so I’m trying to think of ways we can do this. Your idea of massclaiming is probably the most efficient way to net us a win, but it could still go wrong because there are so many players and so many roles. I’d say to wait to ask for a massclaim until we grab a convert because then we can get their input as well (and maybe coordinate if we’re going to attempt any fakeclaims to make sure we don’t cc each other; it also proves to us what the convert’s original class was, which is useful info).
this is fucking broken lol, they can disable your conversion if they know you’re the adventurer
also they can guarantee their teammate’s action succeeds that night
here’s an RBer
in a setup that’s designed to end the game in like 2 or 3 days, this is invaluable tbh. they can afford to lose one member and frenzy their kill if they don’t have a Mugger or a Burglar… meaning that since there are 6 types of thieves and there are 4 in-game, the thieves are guaranteed a factional kill that bypasses everything.
factional kill buffs for them are:
…they have a lot of perks wtf.
Seth is either an Apprentice or a Landlady btw because he claimed to be a turtle and said his role takes forever to work.
my bet’s on landlady.
if he’s landlady he’s essentially a maid without nosy servants, and if we convert him he just becomes exactly a maid with nosy servants (called “change sheets” here) so there’s literally no point in targeting him lmao
Parity cop who can’t start comparing anyone till D2
nvm I think he’s an Apprentice → Court Wizard
not worth converting him because his reads are fucking wrong lol
(also then we have to listen to the ChopChop method for all of eternity)
I actually think there’s a chance Min still is Merchant
I’ve seen them fakeclaim neuts before, though, so it could go either way
nvm min has low wim lol
must be a sucky village class if they arent lying
I’m leaning toward a gutsy play to bait scum into trying to kill me tonight
As long as they can’t bypass my death immunity I should be fine
I already voiced that I think you’re town so it’s not going to be too weird if I “accidentally” soft a healer role, right? Worst case the village gets suspicious of me but waits to see if you claim a heal the next day
If scum thinks I’m an Ice Dragon Avatar, they won’t waste a kill on me
If scum thinks I’m a Handyman or Pharmacist they’ll try to kill me and I’ll absorb the hit
The only way it goes wrong is if you claim healed and people decide to read us as W/W, but at that point especially if we got a convert, we might be able to risk outing ourselves as BD if nobody died during the night because we might have the upper hand.
btw I think a really good move would be if you use Guard Duty on whomever we want to convert so that they have a lower chance of being killed, then convert them D2. It would pretty much secure our conversion if we pick a villager. You’re occ immune so you can’t be roleblocked, so only the Thieves who are occ immune would be able to bypass your guard to kill the target.
easiest fake claim for me is pharmacist btw
I’m immune to bleeding and have heals so I can literally fake it perfectly, except that the BC can out me, but the BC has no reason to out me unless I push for them to die (and I’m assuming it’s Cheeki so I’ll ignore them for now).
my bet is on walking corpse
