btw, I realized the merchant has to side with village/BD at least for a couple days in order to win.
if the max price of an item is 3 coins and the merchant needs 12, the game needs to last for at least 4 nights for the merchant to win.
if the game ends too early because scum achieves parity, the merchant autoloses.

probably but technically they can offer multiple items to a thief and since thieves have 5 coins they could buy an item for 3 and an item for 2 so it’s possible to win in 2 nights
The bc doesn’t need to visit a member of the BD to stop their conversion. They just need to visit the one bd tries to convert the next day.
BC cannot stop a convert as long as the Adventurer takes actions tonight. And even then it requires the BC to get lucky af and select the Adventurer.

it also sort of spews their class if they purchase the max possible items
conversion is a day action, so it can only be blocked by the BC if the adventurer targets another BD at night and the BC happens to pick the adventurer to use Ostracize on
