lel

Last time I played short fuse I was mafia and game started when I was asleep and I woke up to being dead and everyone going ā€œgj guys we got hippo cuz he was lurkingā€. Was salty.

This seems like itā€™s gonna be really chaotic, I just hope timezones wonā€™t give me too much of a hassle

I just realized this would make the setup absurdly scumsided because of this:

so now i regret liking that post

for that rule to be considerable, the amount of mafia detanators takeable by mafia at max must be decreased by one.

It wonā€™t because in any of previous games detonations did happen D1?

eh
the point is, that rule would allow scum to break the game by taking scum detanators as much as possible

How can scum break the game with this rule when it relies on no one using detonatations the entire day.
This rule is just to discourage the tactic of banning detonations and only using lynch.

i think what they mean is that if scum all take their own detonators then theyā€™re basically in their own safe hidey hole while town nuke eachother to the stone age

They could do the same thing before, it didnā€™t stop townies from exploding things left and right.

difference is that new rule forces the ā€œscum hidey holeā€ to be a viable strategy
since now townies must nuke other townies every day essentially

You could force scum to detonate their wolfy buddies lol.

N-no
you couldnā€™t

your rule doesnā€™t mandate that
and mandating that as a host would be bastard

You misunderstood me.

I mean villagers could force other players to detonate certain people, under threat of lynch or w/e.

If someone is refusing to detonate in a weird way, you could build associates with it and lynch these people.

Your scum strategy isnā€™t as amazing as you depict and doesnā€™t break the game.

yes it does
your rule makes the game much more scumsided

like i said, it can only be considerable if you reduce the amount of scum detanators scum are allowed to take by one

If you think this rule makes game more scumsided, Iā€™ll tell you that the setup is townsided as fuck.

But I think this rule has almost 0 effect on the game.

In all previous games detonations DID HAPPEN D1, and so what? Did scum win all the time?

This rule barely affects anything.

the only SF I played in was SF III which scum won dominantly
so iā€™m probably biased
