A player you really need to be on the watch for is the player who looks to maintain the status quo . This desire can be found through a number of sources: their votes, their reads progressions or lack thereof, their treatment of slots, their hesitation to seriously push the first listed player archetype here, their insistence that “the POE is good, we just misfired a couple of times,” etc. Understand that the situation you’re in and the current status quo is unfavorable for your alignment and that wolves, at this stage in the game, want to maintain it. At its very core, this is what you need to be able to realize and identify. Act accordingly once and if you’ve found someone that fits this description.

And yet, it’s quite evident that you can see the progression in my thoughts and reads.

As for Light, he’s acting the same way I feel right now. Sure, I can sort of see why people would scumread him, but Sulit was acting the same way he is now and she was a villager. Also, he was looking very villagery D1 and D2 if I recall.

I was mainly focused on Osie because that was the only read I had any real stock in and then I ISO’d him and realized he was towny when I removed personal bias

JoJo, she wasn’t around exactly at day start but quickly came in and started pressuring a slot (Napoleon). I really can’t go “this is why”, but it feels like she’s much more comfortable in thread and her posts are direct responses to things occuring going on around her. In Morpho, the comfort is back and she focuses on Vulgard (i noticed one of the things she said there is exactly what she said here regarding sulit, “2 hours to become a villager before I tunnel him into oblivion”. I really don’t know what to say except that it feels incredibly natural as compared to this game’s SoD1. In this game, she starts off feeling very… professional in thread, almost, and when she tries to meme it’s really really awkward.

This… isn’t that scummy.” Which was also what I was going to do to get players off sulit because I literally stated I wasn’t confident in that, and then I went to sleep afterward, and you guys hammered three hours before EoD.

I also don’t know who I’ll be voting yet but I’m thinking either Gorta or Centuries. Gorta because I just feel like he has a higher chance of flipping wolf at this point, and Centuries because my gut is telling me he’s just a very good wolf but my brain is telling me he’s a villager, so I’m very uncertain but I think I’d be willing to vote him if Gorta doesn’t look like a yeet today.

If Chloe is town:

1. Marl - Push suspicion on Chloe because her greatest pusher is dead, Marl was being annoying
2. Arete - Get rid of support for Chloe, active voice in thread, strong player overall who has become pretty widely townread
3. Osie - Was maybe shaking out a hidden wolf who was deep in the thread? Just active player generally TR’ed and me, their biggest (and really, only) pusher stopped pushing them?

If Chloe is scum:

1. Marl - Marl was going to end up getting Chloe yote if he had enough time. She’d much rather get him killed and try to deal with the fallout rather than take a guaranteed death.
2. Arete - Her strongest pusher, read her town at the time of her death. All of the sudden, her D1 push and “didn’t like your opener” is dead, flipped villager, and read her villager with Marshal flipped V.
3. Osie - Push agenda on the basis of “he disrupted the towncore, there’s definitely someone he found and they didn’t like that”. Once again, widely TR’ed, active, high WiM, and townread.

I read this when you posted it the first time btw, I just didn’t feel the need to comment.

I guess I could say the NKA for Chloe being town make a bit more sense because in the case she’s a wolf, 1 and 2 feel like contradictions (why kill someone who SRs you and then kill someone who TRs you?)

I think either way, Osie was killed for disrupting the towncore, probably had a wolf or two in their PoE, and was mostly townread.

I see what you’re saying, but respectfully disagree. Marl would guarantee Chloe’s death. He was tunneled regardless of her alignment. If you’re a wolf in that scenario, you kill the pusher and then try to paint it as scum trying to frame you to buy yourself a few days. And then, you have Arete’s read, who is a very good townplayer, immortalized through their death.

The thing is that a lot of things do make sense if Chloe is a wolf, but I’m just not getting wolfy vibes from her so idk what to think.
