Because clearly, a Treestump NK who lives inside a villager and is able to swap at any time was a good idea. After wolves died, town had only 1 KP to use (lynch) and hopefully nail the Rev, but because the Rev could swap bodies at daytime, they couldn’t even achieve that.

It’s not the NK’s actions which get them caught, and the villager doesn’t even know that Rev is inside them. Rev can just keep laying out wifom and nobody has any clue where to look, because there is absolutely no way to figure it out.
