Is tracker / watcher town?
Is vanilla cop town?

Both existing as town seems… stupid.
Vanilla cop pretty much checks if somoene can perform ability.
Tracker checks if someone can visit.

Difference?

  1. Vanilla cop cannot find mafia night kill.
  2. Tracker can get negative results on x-shot abilities

They are still two types of same roles, who focus on actions/abilities tho.
Seems… weird?

And if I was to chose what of this would be town, I would lean tracker.
Or it could just be watcher tbh.

No, I understood your question. If both roles are in the setup i would lean toward tracker being town and vanilla cop being mafia, but I don’t necessarily think both are in the setup.

If a town tracker does turn up, though, I would definitely suspect the cop.

The reason I don’t suspect the vanilla cop claim at the moment is that as a mafia role, PKR would not have outed himself to counterclaim EVO as town investigative.

Miller is considered semi-bastard (or even plain bastard) and hence would require game to be announced as such.

Meanwhile this is still technicly a valid role, so mod is not lying about vanilla cop results.
