Bard: he probably went and searched for that peace and quiet he wants…
finds a book on the vampire war
I found it
Takes a book and my journal out of my bag and begin writing and reading
shows them all the book you were singing about the vampires and I saw a book about them so here it is
Bard: i spend a lot of time in that library, i’ve read it already. but still, thank you for being such a helpful hand.
helpful hand? I just wanted to read a bit of history
curiously takes a book and begins reading about vampires
lets see 20 years ago it seems vampires were one of the biggest threats to the kingdom. and in his youth the king ordered the death of them all. all the vampires were destroyed. the leader and his son and daughter were all killed with the sun of dawn. the vampires all died in those years
Hm, reminds me of my own history book…
Bard: your own history book?
do you have that book here right now?
Well, it’s less of a history book and more of a legend book, but it does include the history of my kingdom including the legend.
you mind if I take a look at it?
Bard: i’m always hungry for knowledge. i’d like to read it too, if i can.
It’s just a silly legend, I don’t see why not opens the leather bag and retrieves a beautiful gem encrusted book, Lucille places it on the table in front of the two
starts reading the book
the bard reads the book as well
The first page is literally the legend
A dragon’s age ago, dragons ruled the soaring skies, they lived peacefully with all creatures of that world. That was soon changed by the discovery of their magical properties by human wizards, they say that their scales could be used to craft powerful armour, their blood could be used to enhance even the most powerful potion into a god-like creation. In almost no time at all, they were hunted to near extinction. Because of this revelation dragons were forced to go into hiding. Years later a kingdom emerges, no one knew where they came from or what they were exactly, rumours emerged that the kingdom’s citizens were of dragon decent, but that was never proven, nor could it ever be proven.
Bard: hm, is there a way to get a copy? i’d love to read it in my spare time…
