I prefer to roll because I don’t need all the stuff from a dungeoneer’s or explorer’s pack and it’s great to have a ranged option by buying a bow.

I see them without any spiky bits on it. Those are special clubs. A normal one is just a bludgeoning one that looks like a bowling pin that you thunk people with.
