The only info I can get in this game the few first days is who wishpered the king, who the king wishpered. Removing that will just make the game more boring.

There are things called reads and see who whisphers someone a lot you could find a scum or a merc/contract relationship

Then what if Private Matter becomes like Psychic’s, 2 use then the King wouldn’t be able to hide his whispers all early game

I get that you cant have more than 2 night abils - np - I was offering several suggestions, pick and choose. But the 2nd part I cant get a read on or understand lol.

If the BD king See’s BAD as Ally and everyone else as not Ally then not only could an Alch found non-ally be an NK but he could also be Cult or Unseen. It doesn’t give NK more claimspace either. It would only ever help the Unseen/Cult.

No thats backwards - the BD king would only see BD as ally and everyone else as Not ally. So they dont know if it is neut or unseen.

The Unseen King would have the same prob.

Same again with the neutral king - Would only see Neutrals (Alchemists/etc…) as allies, everyone else as Not ally.

This gives TONS of claim space - As it is now, King can find neutrals, BD, or Unseen - which totally destroys ANY claim space.

At least with the above method you could claim Neutral if you were unseen (when bd king looks you up).

I will admit however, it would somewhat advantage Unseen. But they could also be caught red handed if they told bd someone was an ally, and that someone said “No IM an alchemist - so hes either unseen or neutral”

If I am alchemist then how does also maybe being Unseen help me not be executed? Right now if I’m Alch and the NK is dead then chances are it’s fine if I stay. If all they know is that I’m not BD then they will exe anyway because I might be Unseen.

Basically it hurts Neuts out and helps Unseen/Cult not be executed which isn’t a problem that needs solving like that.

Btw this was how Ally’s initially worked so I have actual experience to back this.

That’s the old way it was… it used to be bd king saw BD as ally, everything else as not ally, neutral king worked basically like all kings now, unseen/cult king saw neutrals/bd as not ally.

Why it was undone…
Neuts claims were auto executed regardless of whether NK was alive.

The only thing a neutral could do to possibly avoid that… is to out an evil king if he mistakenly posts a log listing himself as “BD” (as a good king would have already executed him).

I had that idea months ago when we were still in beta… but it seems that it has come out again, and I think that it is the only one that can reduce the problem of Good King=Evils and NKs will likely lose
Bad King=NKs and BD will likely lose

Remove Allies.
Remove the passive ability that makes king unlynchable until Day 4.
Add:
Regrets: If the King is killed by a member of their own faction, then their faction will not be able to use any abilities, except Royal Blood, the following Day and Night. The new king will not be affected. Public execution is a Blue Dragon kill.

Royal Blood is a passive, so it would still work, but I like your idea

I’d say give the King Royal Decree as a second night ability instead of Allies!

Remove the neutral King at start and make it Evil/Good King 50/50% chance.

Give the Good and Evil King both a unique special passive:

Give the Good King the Retribution passive similar to the hunter one.
Give the Evil King Fanatic Guards passive, whenever an assassin tries to poison you or a cult leader tries to bleed you remove one charge of Guards instead. (you are immune to the bleed or poison effect as long as you have guards. This excludes butler poison.)

I’d make the odds 66% 33% to make up for the loss of Allys.

no Neut King then? how about 65% 33% and 1% then, just so that a Neutral King can appear every once in a blue moon and surprise us all
