Like in Secret Hitler you commonly do (in say a 7 player game) 1-5, 2-6, 3-7, 4-1 and figure out from there

also from my experience you want as little overlap as possible

if a node flips blue, keep as much of that team as you can especially in the later game until you hit a red flip to make you doubt them

unlike secret hitler you can keep sending the same team over and over, sometimes with just +1
