The Seven Deadly Neutral Class Suggestions[WIP]

#The Egotist
Neutral Wildcard
Sin of Pride(Passive) - You may not be protected by anything but yourself
Bump Off(Night) - Kill a player through immunity - 1 use
Immortal Sin(Night) - Survive death tonight - 3 uses(I guess)
Objective: Kill a player and see their faction lose(and then gloat about it)

#The Thief
Neutral Wildcard
Sin of Greed(Passive) - You will show as guilty to all investigations(he hordes stuff from the baddies so he looks like a baddie
Steal(Night) - Steal a player’s night ability, occupying them, killers will see they have nothing and leave them alone(Death Immunity) - Infinite Uses
Objective: Steal from every living player

#The Outsider
Neutral Wildcard
Sin of Envy(Passive) - You know which classes visit you at night (and are mad jealous of them)
Replacement(Night) - Take another player’s class, but keep your win condition, they will become an Outsider, but keep their win condition - Infinite uses
"Not to name names"(Day) - Choose a player and a class that is not Outsider or a Royal, they will die the following night if you are correct - 2 uses
Objective: Successfully replace someone, and then kill the new Outsider

#The Soldier
Neutral Killer
Sin of Wrath(Passive) - You are unkillable at night
Brawl(Night) - Challenge someone to a fight, you win and kill them, huzzah! - Infinite Uses
Gather Metal(Night) - Gain 1 Metal - Infinite uses
"He owes me a favour"(Day) - Get your Blacksmith friend to forge you some knuckle dusters, making Brawl pierce immunity - Costs 1 Metal
Objective: Survive with only other Survivors

#The Connoisseur
Neutral Offensive
Sin of Gluttony(Passive) - Your fat protects you from the first attempt on your life
Great Banquet(Night) - Invite a player to a feast, forcing them to visit you - Infinite Uses
Foul Smelling Feast(Night) - Anyone who visits you will visit themselves instead - 3 uses
Objective: Destroy the Blue Dragon

#The Sleepwalker
Neutral Investigative
Sin of Sloth(Passive) - You cannot use your ability consecutively
Wander(Night) - Discover a player’s class type - Infinite uses
Nap(Day) - You are immune to death tonight(because sleeping in main room not personal room), however you cannot speak or vote for the rest of the day, nor can you perform your night ability - 4 uses
Objective: Survive

#The Succubus
Neutral Offensive
Sin of Lust(Passive) - You must use your ability, if you choose no target you will visit a player at random
Seduction(Night) - Go to a player’s house and seduce them them, draining them of their life essence, if anyone else visits them they will die - Infinite Uses
Blow Kiss(Day) - Blow a kiss to a player, disabling their night ability tonight - 3 uses
Objective: Destroy the Blue Dragon

Thief gained type: Wildcard
Outsider gained type: Wildcard
Succubus’ ability got a name

The objective in this one seems almost impossible (as you noticed too), given it has only one chance to kill a player and usually the last death is execution.

Love the idea and generally the class, I just don’t know if the “guilty” would work since the results in this game are “This player is (not) a member of the Unseen/Cult” or “This player is (not) a member of the Blue Dragon”. The concept is really nice in this one :thumbsup:

This is a nice one too. I lowkey think an executioner-like class like this would make it even harder for Blue Dragon to win. Unseen already has the ability to convert people so I feel this would make the game kinda unbalanced(?).

I don’t see why a neutral would be investigator since they just want to survive. Every class is dangerous to neutrals they don’t really have to investigate in my opinion.

Removing the Blow Kiss, this could be an awesome Neutral Killer.

Have a wincon of “Do x first” is never a good idea. Probably needs a revamp.
Theif is okay, maybe too rng dependent.
I love the Outsider idea, but it may be too difficult for most players. Maybe a little change, but I like a difficult role that has high payoff.
Connoisseur is a little lackluster, but it’s decently balanced.
Soldier is generic, but isn’t bad.
Sloth is cool, I like the idea. May need something more.
Succubus, make more Nsfw. Otherwise, it’s cool.

Tl;Dr
Yes: Outsider, Connoisseur
Maybe: Succ, Sloth, Soldier, Thief
No: Egotist

I like this, but it seems, like you said, difficult. Maybe the Objective should be something like: Kill the final King so that there can be no more King? (Queues message of too few votes)

This class would need to prolongue the game, so how about whenever you steal, that player is occupied and immune at night?

This is great, it’s like your generic NK but with that little extra tweak. I approve of this.

Here is how I would make The Thief

The Thief
Neutral Wildcard
Sin of Greed (Passive) - You will appear as Suspicious to all investigative results.
Sheriff: Unseen
Psychic: Unseen
Princess: Killer

Steal (Night) - Drug your target, forcing them to sleep tonight allowing you to steal their Night Ability. Killers will assume they are dead and will leave them alone. - Infinite Uses (Occupy + Death Immune)

Objective: You must have Stolen from all the surviving players at the end of the game.
(Roles that don’t count: Prince, Priest, Mastermind) <-Maybe?

Not Soldier or Connoisseur, maybe not Succubus

I would say you should make them unique in a way, some of these classes look bland. the egotist and The thief are very weak. I like the sleepwalker however why would a neutral have an investigative role ? I approve on the connoisseur and i also kinda like The succubus.

the idea of Sleepwalker is that it can find shit out and use it to blackmail people into letting it live
e.g. you find someone with the type “Special” in an unseen game, they’re the Mastermind, you can whisper them telling them to keep you alive or you sell them out
tbh finding just type could be a little weak

I really like them all actually, especially the investigative one. Investing neutrals is hard to do well but I think it works really well here.

Sleepwalker was inspired by Camp Cadaver

Just saying that before people draw parallels

The Thief is a bit better, much easier to manage.

Probably should be phrased “Steal from all living non-unique players.” or something alike.

What makes Unique roles any harder to steal from?
