The Throne... Of Lies... Returns. [Roleplay Thread]

(?)

She says it again, but louder this time.

(i hope i’m doing it right)

Upon getting closer to the entrance, the sheer frailty of the place stands out to you. One of the planks falls off the top of the place, landing directly in front of you.

You can see now that the inside of the place is just as decrepit as the outside, maybe even more so. Rubble has collapsed around most of the room, with chairs and the like strewn about with no attention to detail. It’s utterly wrecked. Nobody would in their right mind want to go somewhere that could collapse in on itself at a single incorrect step.

Fitting for a cult hideout.

The exact same thing happens.

Marian takes a deep gulp as she steps inside.
“What do I do to talk to this so called god?”
She looks at the book that Nicholas is now carrying just so that she’ll be able to see it.

There is an altar in the center of this monastery.

She then tries a multitude of variations of the word, including “Ignite” and “Fireball.”

(hecc idk. does it have to be on a livving thing then?)

“So what should I do when I reach the altar?”

Inscribe the mark of the god on the altar. It will look like what is shown below.

Then bow before it.

Marian gets a quick feeling of chills just by looking at the symbol.
“What do I inscribe it with? Ink?”

Make an incision on your arm when you arrive.

She takes a heavy gulp.
“W-Where’s the nearest knife?”

Staked directly upon the altar.

Nothing seems to be working. Although you may be attuned to magic due to this woman’s latent training to understand it, you on the other hand are unable to release that magical energy into a form that could be considered usable.

You feel a hammering sensation. You can’t think properly.

Marian sweats and shakes as she walks towards the altar afraid of having to do so much just to speak to one entity. She grabs the knife and stares at her right arm for a few seconds before making a small incision. Marian grits her teeth trying to bear the pain as she gets a few droplets of her own blood onto her own fingers and draws the symbol shown to her on the altar. After that, she gets into a bowing position terrified of what’s going to happen next.

“I guess I just don’t know how to use it properly… Maybe I can learn more in Adiart.”

Although slightly disappointed, Lily continues on her way to the Capital.

While trying to sleep, he moves around a lot… Where is this unusual pain coming from? With his head held by his arms he is clearly uncomfortable, not understanding what is happening

Immediately, reality itself seems to fade away. First the roof coalesces into a wavy powder. Then the walls fold in on themselves, configuring to match the sign you wrote in blood. They likewise take on the same blood red tint.

All that remains around you is the ground beneath your feet, and a void.

The hammering sensation grows worse, spreading from your head to your arms.

Now you feel as if they are weighed down by hundreds of bodies. You can see them all, freshly skewered by yourself.
