This is something I 100% agree with. Looking at it from their PoV, why would they bother jumping after such a horrible EoD for town?

I feel like Cloud is too eager to agree with this statement from Eggplant. I got the impression people thought Popcorn was looking bad D1, so they would be a likely candidate to jump from. Even though town had a bad EoD, Popcorn still would have been looked at further today.

Now if I didn’t town read Eggplant for other reasons, I’d almost feel like their statement just serves to cause that doubt they talk about.

See, while this sounds sensible, it is also basically keeping people from discussing much on this because they don’t want to be seen as pointing fingers. So while I still think Eggplant is town, I find the fact that Cloud latches onto this somewhat disturbing.

Read hamster’s actual posting. They really haven’t produced much besides commenting on mechanics (who’s been jumped etc). Posting feels more like trying to act like town than interact or solve.

In any case, it’s not just a matter of reading them specifically, it’s that I also townread others more than them. I don’t see why a slot posting less means they’re off-limits. Wolves want to coast, especially in a thread like this.

Alarm’s emojiposting actually strikes me as really off, as in it doesn’t feel like it comes from town.
It really isn’t hard to imitate , so it just comes off as…wrong, especially with the reason they gave for using it. I can’t fully explain it, but w/e.

The emoji thing is such an easy ‘tone’ to imitate that it feels (and I know this word gets thrown around a lot but) performative. Imo it’s really not indicative of much on it’s own but it’s the reason they gave for using it that threw me off a little.

A lot of fluff just to say alarm seems ingenuine during the meme portion of the game
