So you say there is:

  1. Katze did the kill
  2. Disguiser swapped Capo and Arete
  3. Prankster faked the Bep message

We lack mafia support, so obvious choice would be Cheese is consort.

However, why would they use disguiser (who sheriff is unaffected by and block possible lookout/invest, rather than block sheriff and hope that disguiser would affect lookout/invest.

Likeā€¦ that way disguiser is useless.

They left sheriff who can bypass it in open.
They blocked person who was most likely affected by it.
