If Cheese doesn’t go to vet, he is outed scum.
If mafia kills tonight, it clears both Cheese and person they roleblocked, making it even easier PoE.
Your plan:
Day 6 - 7->6 (cheese lynched)
Night 6 - mafia kill - 5
Day 7 - 5->4
Night 7 - mafia kill - 3
Day 8 - F3
Seems same?
Except in this plan Cheese is lynched, blocking one of 3 lynches, instead of dying N7 to vet.
Making… 3 people remove from PoE, not 4.
One person less.
At both scenarios Cheese dies.
At first scenario he has time to prove self / one more person / be confirmed as scum if they refuse to suicide.
At second we take way more risks.

If mafia kills and Cheese goes like “oh, I roleblocked dead person”, just lynch them tbh.
It would be same as your scenario, just different order.
However if mafia kills and Cheese roleblocks someone else… that’s 2 clears.

Yes, I am willing to extend the game for getting mechanicly better position with potential 2 clears.
Yes, I prefer to be lynched today over Cheese, cause it means I’m off the PoE and it’s basicly a free lynch if your alternative is Cheese.
Cheese is most likely scum, sure, but… still… 2 clears if he is not is worth extending this.
