Unseen Suggestion

Unseen can be really powerless if they lose their Mastermind. Even though the Cult replaces The Cult Leader, The Mastermind does not get replaced especially in the case of The Mastermind dying way too early in the game. I think Mastermind should be replaceable by another Unseen member.

Disagree, unseen has superior killing power to make up for it

And the Mastermind cannot be seen as a member of the Unseen until day 3.

How the cult is supposed to work is that they are conversion based, while Unseen plays more like a normal mafia fac

I disagree with you Alfa. It would be nice to have a second MM in case one dies to early.

No, no no. MM can only die early to a Prince - and you have to be truly awful to not make a fake claim Night one - should be easy enough to get one convert in at least

The thing is it just seems kinda weak to have no mastermind, 'cause having no mastermind may even leave an assassin alone and at that point the game is pretty much over. But Bos said that’s not happening (on discord) so yeahh

That’s how a Mafia based faction should really work in my opinion.
You are screwed when your boss die, not replace it with a second in command.

Welcome to Throne of Lies, where you don’t get promoted to Mastermind as Assassin. :eyes:

I rather like the idea of BD desperately seeking the Mastermind first in order to cripple them for the rest of the game. Getting killed early as a MM either involves an aggressive Prince, getting randomly lynched, or having a Psychic find you.

MM “kills” two people when they convert, as your team gains +1 and their team -1. Allowing only a single MM per game will have bigger highs and lower lows which allows for more interesting interactions.

Without a Ranked mode, who cares if you’re crippled if your MM is really bad? Just move on lol
