I have so many problems with this post.

New players are woefully unprepared to deal with forum vets on full tryhard.

Players won’t improve unless they are given an environment in which trying new strategies and seeking to improve their gameplay is in some ways relatively safe.

It’s utter bullshit to assume that the fault is solely on the new players when they have to be matched up against tryharding gods. The only result time after time can be demoralization.

This is exactly why we can’t find new players: the ones that do find their way here can’t even play in an environment specifically designed for them.
