The example I brought up about VCFM still holds true despite that game not being hugely bastard. Little things made closed can impact balance in a big way.

Going back to the main point of discussion. I don’t think a non-rolemadness 28p will be able to fill as long as a decent amount of the alive players constitutes VT.

This of course is completely barring potential mechanics to make the game interesting.
