Right, so hereās a brief guide on how to play as a cop.
A) Under no circumstances should you out yourself. Donāt claim as an RT. Donāt claim just because you got a vote on you. Only claim if itās something like almost EoD and you have a wagon on you or if you have a red.
B) Aim for greens over reds. Getting reds mean that youāll have to out yourself to out your result and ideally you need to be seeking mech clears to lock the game.
C) Always check the more nullish players.
D) Donāt check the players deep in the PoE. If you do this and you get a green, then youāll probably need to out yourself to prevent them from being mislynched.
E) Donāt check consensus townread players. Your jobās to get clears, not find a deepwolf.
F) Donāt check a player just because ātheyāre strong.ā If theyāre V then they just get SPKād regardless if theyāre clear or not.
G) Donāt CC wolves fakeclaiming cop. Going 1-for-1 is not worth it unless itās very late in the game.
H) Make your peeks clear enough so people donāt get lost when backreading you.
And hereās a brief guide on how to play as a VT in a Cop 13āer.
A) Donāt CC Cop claims as theyāre self-resolving.
B) Donāt fake a red on people for no reason as peoples reactions may spew them VT.
C) Donāt fake-claim Cop for any reason for the same reason above.
D) Donāt probe around peoplesā N0s.
E) Give actual efficient cop cover.
F) Donāt fake-claim Cop. Ever.
G) Donāt bait out a Cop claim, CC them, and quickhammer them while openwolfing.
