“oh i didn’t realize the game started” is fine and nai
“forgot the game existed” too
but
“had problems accessing the site” means she KNEW It started but still didn’t post for ??? reasons
as someone who checks the forums like
every hour on the hour that phraze would be awake
it wasn’t down or anything at all
it is just a lie
Like, if she wanted to lie about starting late why not say that she forgot the game existed as “had problems accessing the site” feels like it’s a harder lie to believe?
I don’t think Phraze is the kind of person who’d use overly elaborate lies to her advantage?

Not sure why she wouldn’t use it if she wanted to lie.

her using a very slightly more elaborate lie does not make it the truth
