I don’t think they’re gonna resurrect and tell you… Do you have a theory?
There wasn’t much pushback from Bepwei either, which makes me think that the mafia were losing a member in the rand either way. The only problem is that they probably would’ve wanted to take credit for a scum lynch, so why didn’t they swing the vote onto one or the other instead of losing Marshal?
Icr was bep on at the time?
Lemme check…
Yeah, definitely wasn’t on at eod. He hadn’t voted earlier, either.
By no means a certain read, but I kinda think of the inactivity as townie… Maybe +0.5% townie tho, not much
If Bep’s a townie, then why didn’t Marshal vote him to save himself?
I don’t think that Bep/Marshal can both be scum together. There’s little way I can see them randing that willingly, unless it was to eventually “clear” Bep from being scum. But even I can’t see Marshal planning that far ahead.
But then if Bep isn’t Mafia, that lowers the PoE to me…
…which means we miscleared someone.
My theory for town!bep is that marshal just wanted to keep his hands clean of the mislynch, boosting his towncred when bep flipped town.
I’m not completely attached to this theory, but I think it’s about as plausible as the svs wagons theory.
Neither of them were on right at eod, so it’s reasonable that marshal expected his partners to carry the wagon.
You can’t exactly get towncred if you’re dead
But where does the Wazza Kill fit into this?
I don’t see a world where that would be optimal play by anyone here.
I mean, it’d take a bit more work to get going, but I am by no means against a squid wagon. But I’d want a bit of evidence before doing that.
Note that in my vc shenanigans above, squid is my poe color, even though I nulltown them at the moment.
Good question.
I think it would be a suboptimal play by anyone, though, so i have kind of no idea how to use it.
I have a theory for the Wazza kill:
It was made by someone outside the PoE as a Failsafe incase the PoE got cleared and a full scale Re-Eval of the game needed to take place. Whoever did the kill could bend it onto Arete as evidence against them, getting them lynched. Of course, if it were Arete who did the kill, then no one would use it as evidence against them and if a Re-Eval of the game needed to happen, Arete would most likely be cleared as no one would want to risk bringing it up as a point against them, as Arete could easily use the point of “You’re just scum who’s pushing against me using your kill as evidence against me” as a defense.
Anyone have any other ideas?
- Was killed by someone in or out of the PoE to frame me
- Was killed because we had basically cleared him, so he wasn’t really PoE anyway
- Was killed by someone in the PoE who wasn’t really paying attention
- was killed by Bepwei due to Wazza sussing him at EoD?
- was killed for no reason just to confuse us??
^this. Marshal could have guaranteed a not-him lynch and in V!Bep worlds sent us into LyLo just by … voting Bep.
Most likely outside the PoE, as a failsafe incase a Re-Eval of the game was needed
I don’t remember Wazza ever being cleared
Who do you think this could be?
A Non-PoE kill would’ve made more sense in this case
Highly unlikely, unless it was someone outside of the PoE.
Even if it sacrificed him the next day, it would’ve definitely been most likely a Mafia-win.
Arete.
Do you think that wazza and squid are locktown?
If so, we have a very easy game.
the short answer is yes
so Wazza is almost certainly just town.
my PoE (currently at Jake/Kyle20/Bep)
I definitely agree that his push on ari/wazza does not look like a bus.
Right, and realistically I doubt every townie would have voted right.
